Miss at idle only when engine warm
I love my rv275s. Easy upgrade, nice little boost of power, small mpg gain. If you do go for them get genuine Bosch. They aren't much more than others.

Truck shuts off but starts back up
What year truck? My 01 would shut the fuel pump off due to a loose connection. Is lift pump still running off ecm? Maybe needs a relay.

Oil viscosity
I drive semi for a living, we use 15-40 year around. I don't go where it gets hot much, but do go to the north end of Michigan peninsula in winter never had any problems.

oil pressure sensor
Another update. After reading articles here one thing I read was to do a "wiggle" test on the wiring to try and recreate problem. Tried could not recreate but got a small spark when oil pressure sensor wires touched the fitting to the lift pump. So tear down stuff on side of engine to reach and work on wires. Did not find any rub spot or break in wire, so wrapped each wire with tape, then all three together, then put split loom on. Did same to map sensor, put truck back together go for a ride. Roads not quite as wet as this morning but no problem with sensors. Back to waiting for a good rain to drive in.

Power Distribution issues
If you have 98.5 to 2000 check the big connection on the firewall the one with a white bale. The bale must be all the way to the left. On mine it was in the middle and was causing loss of signal to ecm. The ecm would shut off power to the lift pump causing truck to die from lack of fuel. Took me 3 weeks to trace down the problem.

oil pressure sensor
WiscoRedneck, Yes I did check the only thing I noticed was when shined light from sensor side I could see light on wire side. So put silicone on wire side and die-electric grease on sensor side. I cleaned plug as best I could. Yesterday it got warm enough to melt some snow and I went out for a 2 hour drive on wet roads and the problem did not occur. Will see when it rains next week. I do see a little higher oil pressure with the new sensor.

Oil leak
Check your crank case vent, the fan can blow oil all over the front of engine then it drips down. Also check the seal between the vacuum and power steering pumps. The only thing else I can think of is the valve cover. Can you post a picture of the leak?

oil pressure sensor
Last night oil gauge started dropping to bottom of gauge tripping check gauges light and chime. Since it was raining I'm thinking loose connection. My question Where is the sensor? I tried to find it on the parts lookup. It is listed as number 12 but picture only goes to 11. Want to clean the connection.

Just finished installing new headlights from SAP. These are the ones from the link you supplied. First picture is before second is after. Headlights were good quality and came with bulbs. Even better my Brother box works with them.

Did you disconnect battery while doing the work. Sometimes you need to reset the aps. Also check the connection to the VP 44 after I fixed my tappet cover mine wouldn't start. The connection was loose.

Hey does anyone know if you can still rent a Smarty to turn on high idle. I finally have the money to but Mike's mpg fooler but need to enable high idle first.
