yup ya had a tear or two huh? on my old 02 on 35's and the quad on level 3, i was able to get about 23 when i got into it...i'd figure w/ a lil more fuel from the RV's you could prolly push the wastegate up to about 25ish....get that elbow on and crank the tuner up to 9 but don't play around too much...you'll get better fuel mileage doin that than you will on level 1...so i've heard...

so as some of you may or may not know, i traded the ol' black beast 02 to a guy in Florida for a 97 reg cab 2wd ST...Cummins of cousre :thumb1:and the day after i got er home it shat the trans...and finally after 5 weeks of waiting it's back together and runnin one million times faster than the 02 ever dreamed ofso here are some questions and observations i've had over the 70 someodd miles i've actually got to drive the thingis it normal for the 47RE to downshift back to first when you're on the brakes and goin about 5 or so MPH?is there a worse cup holder than the one that came on the 94-98 Dodges? i had a can of red bull in mine just now and i made a turn that had a slight bump in it and the damn can fell out of the holder, hit the gear shifter and spilled all over my right leg and my seats:banghead:say i was able to find a fairly decent condition SLT cab for cheap from a gasser 97, would i be able to put in the door panels and the steering column and be able to rig up power locks/windows and cruise and tilt?also, on the steering column, i have a good 20 degrees of play at center in my steering wheel, i called Mike and asked him about it and just as he was gonna tell me how he figured i could fix it, i entered a dead zone and dropped the call...so Mike, you can go ahead and type out your response here if you'd like bud :lol:oh last but not least, i'm gonna wash the dirty thing and throw up some pics of it here if y'all'd like to see it...if not i don't care haha

for the cost of the trans, the controller, and mods to the trans itself, you'd be better off building your stock trans

so i went to the pawn shop earlier to sell some tool boxes, and i noticed my truck took a fraction of a second too long to crank...i thought no big deal...and then goin there(it's only a mile from my house) i felt what i thought may be the dreaded dead pedal...but in my case it was that it went back to idle with my foot on it....so anyway i ignored it.... i then left the pawn shop(with my toolboxes still) and drove at the most 2 miles and all of a sudden it starts missing and dies on me....i had to get pulled to a friend's house by a 6.7 too... so anyway...before the questions arise, i'm running an air tex stock replacement fuel pump, which works...but admitedly no fuel pressure gauge...but no chip...and the pump has been on the truck three months at the most...and i can still hear it buzzing.... and now the truck turns over and acts like it ain't got no fuel...but i have a 1/4 of a tank according to the gauge that has always worked and i have fuel in the fuel filter bowl too... oh and ZERO codes thrown...which would mean the VP is fine right? so my question is, could my fuel sender decided to have died all of the sudden? also...i still have the quad harness installed and wired up, but not connected to the DLC or map plugs, could that be causing my problems? mike, you will be gettin a call from me shortly

good to know man....you need to come to otto's the 20th...so i can see what ya wound up doin w/ the gauges and pod ya bought off me

i can never seem to get mine dead set....but this may be cuz i fill the tank up till there's fuel runnin over the overflow on top of the tank....but i think i got it somewhat close now....for best results, always fill up from the same level, at the same station, and even the same pump, maybe even the same time...haha
