Quadzilla V2 Custom Tunes

Me78569

Recommended Posts

I feel that it is time to start building a list of tunes that we all use.

Please learn what each tuning variable does.  There V2 tuning article covers everything in depth along with a video explaining each item.

This tool will allow you to edit Quadzilla tunes from your PC.

Update 1/15/17 V2.2 tunes should include timing maxes for various RPM's and fuel load timing

Looks good, the only thing I'm thinking is maybe go up a little bit on the TPS minimum to keep from using so much of the pump. It's good for the power when I need it, but otherwise would probably hurt mileage a bit since I would be using a bit more throttle while pulling.

Thoughts?

@Me78569 I think it's crucial that we also put the major modifications in the post too. That was someone can find a setup close to theirs and use that to tune. Also missed the Max Fuel Stretch

I would leave wiretap TPS low as if it is too high you will feel wiretap ramp up VERY quick once it comes on.  If you are concerned about wiretap at cruise sucking down fuel just leave it on lvl 3.   I would do that regardless, but I dunno if lvl 3 is enough fuel for you or not.

Low boost scale give you a 0-100% of how much wiretap you want before you reach the pump low limt.  I changed it to be % rather than PSI as that was confusing.

If you set this at 0 it iwll give you no wiretap until you hit the psi in the setting above it, in this example 8 psi.  at 8psi you will get 1/3 of the difference between your setting, 0 in this example, and %100.  At 11 psi you will get 2/3 and 14 psi you will get 3/3

If you had your low limit % set to 25 then you would get 1/3 or 75% ( 100-25 = 75)

You're missing the most crucial variable.... cruise timing advance. I'm not seeing it here.

You're also missing the timing reduct.

On your Iquad app reselect your truck, that wll load the update for the variables needed.  Once your custom tune shows the missing timing stuff I am sure your MPG will come up.

You are correct about the settings. I have updated them and we will see what happens

Good lord this is an aggressive curve.  How quickly does the power come in and do you haven any issues with smoke below 10 PSI?

Just a light puff just as the wire tap hits then clears right up. I might bump the wire tap back to 10 PSI. Pulls like a mule getting on the interstate. Gotta be careful it's been known to break the tires loose getting to the top end of 3rd gear.

:lmao: pizza cutter life

I'm going to make a tune tonight up to 140% and see if I can make it smoke free. @Me78569 your wish is my command.

Hahahaha there are actually a few lines of code in the new tuning commented with Tyler's wish is my command....

Also really anything over 125-130% up top will max out the fueling message.  The ECM can and will ask for a fuel message of 3600.
