Need an ECM repaired.

I looked at Pepsi's Chart. Think I will pass on Auto Computer Specialist.

So moving down the list, has anyone dealt with dieselsystemservices?

If so, I'd like to hear about it.

Thanks.

Leaky

I just received my ecm back from Auto Computer Specialist , I sent it in then saw that some had issues with them, yes I was worried . Sent it in for a manual flash. I can't complain got in back in 5 days counting the Labor day and it works as should . I personally would use them again. Good Luck .

I went down this rabbit hole back in 09 or 10 and it was no fun. I dont know what it is that makes the ECM's such a pain. ACS seems to have more good than bad reviews though. I would most likely go to them myself but hope that day never comes. This day and time I would probably drop $2500 on a new one to avoid the horror story again. That is if you could find a new one.

You can read my google reviews regarding Auto Computer Specialist. Absolutely terrible customer service the second they are at fault or questioned on anything. Overall the product they produced was adequate and I have not had any issues in my limited use of the repaired items however, I would pay double the price for a company that values customer service and interaction in the future.

Few bad apples doesn't always mean the company is bad.

I've had two trip to Auto Computer Specialist.

  1. My own alternator had a short on the blue wire side and it cooked out the PCM so bad if fact I required a full replacement since the circuit board disappeared. New unit was flashed and returned to me in 7 days.
  2. My second trip was a 2012 Ram 2500 with a weird issue of going brain dead. No nothing... Sent it in and had it repaired. Returned and worked for a short while. Then found out nothing wrong with the ECM but something in the wiring was bad. CANBus issues.
