Texas Heat

Recommended Posts

My mom and sister, both, have lake houses at Whitney. Mom sent me a picture of the lake and it looks absolutely terrible, how low it is (-16ft.) Sis said Lake Travis (in Austin) is even worse looking..

Lake Travis: Level is 47.63 feet below full pool of 681.00

Ha ha we would need more than 5 days there are cracks that you can fit your foot in easily, and loose a yard stick in. I can drive miles and miles on my 4 wheeler or my buddies polaris ranger through creek bottoms never hitting a puddle of water. Lake Texoma the lake closest to me is so low you have to back a boat past where the concrete boat ramp ends. Its just crazy :stuned:-Jordan-

After seeing all the storms coming in from Africa heading to the gulf, you should getting something soon. My friend said there was a sign next to the road that said "Satin wants the heat back, give it up Texas". He also is considering doing like they did in Santa Barbara Calif a few years back, cut the grass short, spray it green and the hell with it.

I guess the only thing good that had come out of it is that weve been going through and cleaning up the creeks and streams nearby. The cool thing is that were actually making a little money doing it, weve found 2 v-8 engine blocks a few hoods and some other chunks of metal that we should make some decent money on taking to the scrap yard -Jordan-
