Newbie, which lift pump??

how muach danger is there of that unit gettiing hit and damaged i like the filters but was leaning toward the raptor because the pics look like the filters are hanging in harms way

Check out post #13 on this thread... http://forum.mopar1973man.com/showthread.php?t=1048&page=2 Mine are tucked up against the transfer case the skid plate protects the filters...

I have mine mount up on the outside frame just under the cab. It is up high enough that anything that could damage the pump would have to take out the lower cab and fender skirts.

i thought the same thing...but i take my 2wd truck on our hunting lease with no problems...i have bottomed out the suspention a couple of time. when i get out to check the airdog...everything is fine....my is installed to pureflow's instructions. inside the framerail, and my filters do hand a little lower than the transmission.
