  1. "The Beast" Broke The High Mark 28.04 MPG On The Quadzilla! Notify - @Quadzilla Power Yup! The old high mark was 27.2 MPG with +75 HP injectors (Vulcan Performance) and Edge Comp. Now I did it with a Quadzilla, +150 HP DAP Injectors, HX35/40 Hybrid Turbo. Netting 28.04 MPG hand math, fill to fill! So I filled up in Riggins, ID and then drove to Donnelly, ID to get my paycheck for my last 2 weeks of work. Now returned home which included sitting in construction in McCall for about 15 minutes idling with A/C running. Next morning I got up and drove to Lewiston Idaho. When I got to Lewsiton, ID I was shocked to look down at just below…

  2. Android Some devices don't allow the link of the quad app to the .json file type of the tune. You can still import manually. 1. Open the quad app 2. go into your custom tune menu 3. click Import in the upper right. 4. next a file explorer will open. Each phone is a bit different, but you want to click the settings in the upper right, then "show internal storage" 5. You will now see this structure. 6. you can navigate to the downloads folder and click the tune you want. IOS Also, regarding loadin…

I feel that it is time to start building a list of tunes that we all use. Please learn what each tuning variable does. There V2 tuning article covers everything in depth along with a video explaining each item. This tool will allow you to edit Quadzilla tunes from your PC. Update 1/15/17 V2.2 tunes should include timing maxes for various RPM's and fuel load timing Copy this into your post and fill out the info My Mods 7 x.009 DFI injectors, he351ve arduino controller My Tunes DD: Tow: Race: @Carbur8tr For your towing tune. …

Alright give @Carbur8tr a HUGE hand for creating this Windows Based Tune builder tool using Excel macros. Follow the article and download the tool and start altering your tunes using your computer rather than your Iquad Device.

Well I'm on the road today it's snowing and cold. My engine oil temperature started to rise to 190°F which I know is a sign over advancement of timing. I pulled over and subtracted 2 degrees off the cruise timing in a few miles the engine oil temperature dropped 30 degrees back to the 160 realm again. I know some of you got my economy tune you might want to check cruise timing to bring the oil temperature back in line.

I have tried a few different 0-100PSI fuel pressure sensors and they all seem to read low (including the official fuel pressure sensor from Quad). Is there a calibration or offset for the fuel pressure sensor values (or could we get one as an enhancement request?) My edge was reading around 20PSI at idle after the fuel filter, a mechanical gauge is within a couple psi of that value, but I can't seem to find a 0-100psi sensor read from the Quad that reads higher than 10psi. Maybe my luck is bad (3 different 0-100psi sensors all disagreeing with the mechanical gauge, and each other).

  9. So I've been playing around with theories. I'm going where most people won't go for economic performance. What have I done this time... Pulled the 190*F thermostat and replaced it with a 200*F thermostat from a 6.7L Cummins. Then install my wintertime grill cover. What happened... Do keep in mind that this is barely just 24 hours after doing this. As for coolant temperatures I'm now up around 203 to 207*F coolant temperatures which now made the IAT rise in temperature floating 90* to 100*F being that 80% of the intercooler is blocked from the direct cold wind and also the manifold is warmer being the coolant jacket run the manifold. I did…

How do you data log with the Quad? I'm going to be doing some towing and would like to get some data so Mike can fine tune my tune.

  11. Started by Mopar1973Man,

Yeah, I got up this morning I've got emails from Quadzilla about a product being shipped to me. Not sure if something went wrong with the store or a hacker. So being smart I called @dieselautopower and talked to Lenny and I guess Jacob Kidd has a new toy he wants me to beta-test for him. So in a few days I'll tell you guys what I got.

  12. Started by 5akman,

I went to purchase a tune or two and don't see many of them listed like I did a few weeks ago. Are they no longer available? I was needing a tow tune and emissions tune. Thanks, Lance

  13. Started by Mopar1973Man,

I've got a towing tune coming together. I build a base tune from my economy tune. Tweaked it for use on my Jayco RV which is 31 foot long and typically scales in at 8,000 to 8,500 pounds. As for today I was using my BigTex trailer and headed back down to Middleton, ID to put up my free bed. King size, dual zone adjustable. I had a 1/4 tank and left made to Council, ID and got 30 dollars of fuel (5.6 gallons) and continued to Middleton, ID loaded up the bed and headed out grab 20 dollars (3.8 gallons) of fuel and continued back to Payette, ID. Basically traveling 100 miles on about 5 gallon of fuel. Trailer was empty down (1,800 empty weight) and loaded no mor…

  14. Just got my new Quadzilla installed today, should have done it some time ago. Just one thing I did not see mentioned in the instructions for the IQuad or anywhere else. On the IPhone you should change the wifi settings for the IQuad. It should be set to manual instead of automatic in the Configure IP setting Set the IP Address to (in my case) 1.2.3.14 the Subnet Mask to 255.255.255.0 and leave the router blank This will allow the Iphone to connect to the Quadzilla and maintain LTE connection for interrnet.

So to be clear i'm not asking about the timing difference in the pump.. @Mopar1973Man, with all of the experimenting and tuning you have done, what would the raised compression in an HO motor do to the timing with the quadzilla? I think people can forget that the motors aren't just a pump difference. It's also pistons, injectors, and compression ratio. With the HO motor being 17:1 versus the SO's 16.3:1, would this make a difference enough to have to adjust the timing? Side note: does quad allow half steps/part of a percent in the canbus sliders? my truck lurches a bit when I go from +1 to +2 in the percentages..

  16. @Quadzilla Power We need to see about fixing the iQuad App so the gauges are no all laying on top of each other. As you can see the intake air / fuel temp and EGT / timing are crossing over each other.

  17. Started by Ravewolf,

So I did a pretty big rewiring job on my truck(wt ground mod) and I also wired in a terminal buss system so I could clean up all the wires attached to my battery cables. I ran power from the alternator lug on the pdc system to the positive wiring buss. Well, my stupid self did the crimp on the cable from the battery to the pdc wrong, and it fell apart, and killed my truck. I figured it out and fixed it, but now my quadzilla module isn't working. So I figured I could reflash the module, hoping it would work. My current problem is I can't find the flash installer on the website. I'm using Me78569's guide, but I can't even find the quad installer. I did download the V2 flash…

Good day all. Got in my truck one morning and out of the blue my adrenaline tuning variables fail to load. My butt dyno tells me I’m at stock fueling which is odd because I thought the box kept the last loaded tune active. I have updated the app but no luck. Anyone else have this issue? I am running v2.7. Not sure if it’s v2.7.7 but I do have “build date” in data logging. Should I attempt a reflash? Thank you in advance.

Could someone advise me on what the default parameters settings are for the Quad, & who set the defaults perimeters? Thanks
