Hey guys, i was a lurker here for a long time before yesterday when i started searching again for Quadzilla tunes and updates, I usually found everything on Jigabops website. well his site went down a few months ago and now I'm told they are here under the downloads tab but it wont let me view them. it told me that I wasn't a member and that i needed an account to view the files, so i made an account and now it tells me I'm not allowed to see them WTF? anybody got an idea whats going on? Thanks in advance for your help!

  5. If you have an Iquad for an Apple device, DO not upgrade. You WILL lose all functionality of your Iquad. http://lifehacker.com/5977636/what-do-i-do-when-one-of-my-favorite-apps-gets-pulled-from-the-app-store That link MAY work. I suggest to do a physical backup of your Iquad App for safety to a PC pr Apple computer. I spent hours on the phone with Apple tech support. Here's what I posted about it on CF: OK. Apple tech support aknowledges the issue. They understand that when someone purchased the Iquad for $289 & can no longer download the App, they will not purchase an Iphone. When a person has the App on their existing Iphone, they will NO LONGER have the functi…

  7. I am starting to repair Quadzilla Adrenalines. I also hope to reverse engineer & possibly add new functions in the future, as the board allows. Here's the deal: 1. You ship to me In the box, I want a full description of the issues & history. I will require the box, wiring harness & controller. 2. I will do my best to repair & load any tune you desire & fully test to level 3 (as I have not upgraded my trans yet). 3. If the unit is unrepairable, I will ship it back or part it out for you for a 25% charge after fees & shipping. 4. I charge $25.00 per hour (check those rated against any electronics repair shop) plus parts & will confirm a…

  8. Due to my complete frrustration, I am going to source out the connectors for adapting my Quad Adrenaline to a 2001 MAP harness. I am wondering if it would be worthwhile to order the connectors in bulk & produce them.I have called each & every supplier on the internet that formerly sold Quad products. Not even a used harness on the shelf. If there is no real interest, I will just order the plugs for mine. If there is enough interest, I will order in bulk & produce a limited run. Under 25 pieces would be in the $40.00 range for a plug & play MAP harness. Let em know what you think.Ed

  9. So, I took a chance & bought an Adrenaline for cheap in the classifieds that was "Stuck on PL00". Figured with my electronic background, I just may be able to fix it. I was thinking it might have been loose connections or somethiing simple (for me that is). After trying it on my truck, it was as advertised "Stuck on PL00".Took the control pod apart & the black & white wires (serial data) were disconnected. I soldered them back on (along with redoing the red & green [power & ground]) & it now changes levels. The way I see it is that the wire is a bit stiff and it looks to me like this one may have been tossed around a bit. Now, to fully test…

  13. I decided to try the XZT+2000 tune in my new XZT+... I'm thinking the low speed trailer towing will want the agressive bottom end tune. What a PITA. Neither of my XP computers had the .net 3.5 network needed. The Quadzilla instructions are confusing, though all there. It took a nervous hour with both my desktop open to the instructions and (on the second try) the programing done on my laptop. I suppose one could print out the instructions... but you really need them. I think (hope) I got it done. Hopefully additional tuning wil not be so difficult.Russ

  14. I'm anxiously awaiting getting my truck back from the shop. I have the Quadzilla XZT+. After installation, the tunes are downloaded to your computer & one power tune at a time may be installed in the XZT+ box in the highest setting. There are many power tunes available from the Quadzilla site & power tunes can be changed at will. Installing a power tune overwrites the prevous setting. (I believe the stock and economy tunes can not be changed.) I read about a "more agressive" non-published "3000 tune" on another forum. It is down loaded first to your computer then to the XZT+ box, the same as any other power tune. It is being shared by email so of course I h…

My new Quadzilla XZT+ arrived today. I only ordered it Tuesday, dealer drop shipped it directly here. (I think I got a great deal at $275 shipped.) The 3 position switch offers "stock", "+30", "+70". (Yes, the instructions state +70, not the +65 frequently seen in advertizing.) The +30 setting is also described as "economy"... It is very interesting that +30 is more economical than stock. I like the ability to down load all the tuning programs to my computer & save them. Then the user can download them to the XZT+ at will. The download over-writes the previous top tune only. (Nobody else is getting Jack fer Christmas... I spent the money on my CTD. I m…

First off moparman, I apologize for emailing you with this the other day, i didn't see until it was to late that you have on here you request people to post rather then message you, i'm signed up now :banghead:.I have an 02 with the HO Cummins and I recently added the Quadzilla XZT module wanting the high idle feature. I hooked it up and I got the power advantage, but high idle woudln't activate. After many emails to Quadzilla and them being very willing to help figure it out, they asked me to send it back for them to look at it saying it must be the module itself. I should add they said it may be my APPS sensor not being at zero at idle and the module wouldn't kick int…

I'm planning on getting a quad adrenaline with pulse as soon as my bank account allows and I'm wondering if the high idle works good. Or should I be doing a manual setup like I found on this forum?

I got a Quadzilla milage max this week and would like to know if anyone has been using it. i understand it is on some of the other Quadzilla programmers but i just got the Max. How much of an increase of MPG did anyone get with it. Also this is not to be used in California, Does it leave anything on the ECM so during the now smog checks will it show up after i have taken it back out? I will be tring mine out and will keep tab on milage.
