Hello again,I noticed the 2-3 inch rubber line from my hydroboost is starting to split. Is this high pressure hose or what is recommended to replace it? Thanks

  2. Hey Guys, I installed my Raptor 150 pump the other day. Pretty easy and good instructions to boot. I have everything wired up the right way, however when I turn the key forward I still hear a gooosh, almost like something purging itself. I always thought that was the stock lift pump. I called the place I got the raptor from and the guy said I should not hear the old lift pump. Are there other electronics hooked up to the lift pump besides the Deutsch two prong connector? Should I remove the lift pump from the side of the block? Thanks

I've been wondering if it would be possible to rig up something to lock up my tc whenever I want. If possible are there dangers in doing this?

Ok so I replaced My vss on my rear axle today now my abs/brake lights stay on! Even after resetting computer by unplugging batts for 30 mins. Any ideas? Thanks a ton.

  6. Today I went to Tractor Supply Center to pickup some scratch feed for the chickens and notice they had their "Travelers" house brand 15W-40 Diesel Heavy Duty Motor Oil in the 2 1/2 gallon containers on the clearance shelf for $14.99. By my stubby pencil math, that comes to a $1.49 per quart. They had 9 2 1/2 gallon containers left on the shelf. Yours truly scarfed em all! I think 22.5 gallons of oil should hold me for awhile.

  7. Without stirring up a fuel pump debate, where is best price to find an OEM lift pump? Thanks. Also, can I safely use the following oils from Sam's Club:1. Delo 15W40 API CJ-42. Mobil Delvac 1300 super 15W40 also same API ratingsThanks.

When I install my big line kit from FF to VP, and if I keep my pressure gauge tapped at the fuel filter test port, will the increased fuel line size result in more pressure at the VP inlet that I won't be able to see on my gauge because it's mounted at the fuel filter test port. Just curious. Thanks.

I was wondering what all you guys with outerwares on your bhaf's do to clean them? I was just gonna wash it out with some water, let it dry, and put it back on. Is this correct?

I was going through the drive-thru today and notice a shutter when creeping ahead. Once I got my order I went into a empty parking lot and did a bunch of turns and found that if I turn left (at a idle) the truck will shutter not a lot but enough I noticed. It does not do it turning right or when going at normal speeds say going around a corner. Anyone have any thoughts?

Installation is complete of the Holley HP150 Fuel Pump. This was an upgrade from a Holley Black type fuel pump. Main advantage of this pump is that it's a gerotor style gear pump. Gerotor pumps are long lasting and smooth, quiet running. Holley blue is a vane pump. Gerotor gear set Compared to the vane style of blue / black pumps Comparison Old setup below; new setup above. I am lost on these trannys and it has gotten worse since my last post, I really dont want to fork out another 2500 and up for another rebuild which was done only a year and a half ago, is this possibly a computer problem? If i have to rebuild it again is it worth it, if so where should I go i live in Wisconsin and am not reall…

Installed Scan Gauge II and ran the setup. It gives me a 7.5 to 8.0 MPG while towing. My actual MPG was 10.2. Any ideas on what to do? Also, when towing my T/T (8800 lbs) into a slight headwind, I can barely maintain 60 MPH with the pedal on the floor. Is this normal? See signature for vehicle specs.ThanksMOHOK

I sent the controller off to have it checked to see if there are any problems, and I got a call today that said the entire cable was corroded and corrosion was inside on the board. I think oh crap what is that going to cost? They tell me for the 99.00 fee for check up they will send a new updated controller. I guess we shall see.

Ok guys here it is I got this code after I plug the OBD II scanner tool on this truck I just bought. The previous owner told me about this problem , when the truck is running at speeds of 60 o 70 the pedal wont respond and the speed goes down and I have to lower the speed by braking or putting it on neutral and then it will respond. What do you guys think?

I hooked up the geno's vulcan fuel pressure gauge this afternoon, and am getting 14.5 - 15 psi at idle, with a drop during normal acceleration to around 12-13 psi, and steady state psi at 45 mph (haven't been out on the highway yet) of around 14 psi. Are these numbers good/about what others are seeing with stock setup? Thanks.I'm still waiting on my fuel line for my isspro gauge, and was bored today, so installed the tapped banjo into the outlet port on the filter, connected the vulcan test gauge, zip tied open the needle valve so it wouldn't turn, leaving my test port on the filter for my permanent gauge. Still haven't ordered the big line kit for filter to VP.

so i know it's a code for one of the relays for the grid heater....my question is, where is said relay, where do i find a new one, and how much will i be out?i think my grid heater comes on at idle now no matter what the outside temp is...and this causes my truck to sound like it has a lope...and my scan gauge will say my IAT's are up over like 110 degrees if i idle for like 10 mins on a somewhat warm day....so my choices are to either get the new relay and fix the problem, or do the lazy thing and unplug the grids for good till next winter...haha what do y'all think i should do?
