2nd Generation Dodge 24 Valve Powertrain

I have a P0122 TPS code on my 99 Cummins that I cannot get my scanner to clear. When I read the codes it was listed 4 times - twice for confirmed and twice for pending. I told it to clear all codes and I still have one confirmed and one pending remaining. I've tried several times but it won't clear. Any ideas would me helpful. - - - Updated - - - My reader is an ACTRON 9575.

Been driving about a year after the 0216 code came up. It never came up again till a few days ago so I increased fuel pressure to 21-22 from 18 and throwing 2 quarts of 2 cycle with every fill up to help the VP.I have a significant increase in miles hauling the same heavy camper on the same almost exact 3 day long road trip sometimes going 3 times a year.. It's showing a little over a 1 mile per gallon increase to 15.3 from just under 14.:think:I thought the vp should give bad miles when the timing piston starts to wear (0216 error code), but there's no white smoke and no hard starts. runs really good.

:think:Okay, so ever since I've had the whole shpiel with the truck last time running funny, it seems it still will throw a couple codes.Going in the mountains this weekend, so I decided I would run a code reader on it see if it is still running good. Well, turns out it threw a P0234 code 2x. Checked the ECM and PCM as well. Dunno if these trucks allow it or not, but the reader said unable to communicate with the ECM.The PCM said there was companion code set.Now, I dunno if anything serious is occuring or not, but I would sure like to figure it out. First, I have tried two different readers. I bought a cheap actron and it say's "no link". So I borrowed a nicer one from a buddy from work and it says, "can not establish connection, check port connection." It's acting like I have a dead port. Any suggestions? Second, the problem i am having is it's gone dead pedal on me twice now in the last week. The engine just drops right to an idle and the cel comes on. It idles just fine, not rough at all just no pedal. Both times it has only lasted 15 - 20 seconds and come right out of it. The cel stays on for about a day then it goes out. Loooking to put these tunes on my quadzilla manually but can’t download to see parameters can anyone help me?

W-T ground mod done, replaced alternator diode pack, and cleaned up and coated all grounds I could find with dielectric grease. Im still getting 0.033v at idle and I’m still having a lockup issue. My tc tries to lock early(40mph)under light throttle and then instantly unlocks until I gain a bit more speed and then will lock up again.

I'm replacing my fuel lines and found a capped banjo fitting on the intake of the stock fuel filter housing. It looks to me as if it were brazed shut. Any ideas as to what it's there for?

How trust worthy are these things? I found a 01 eng. with 48k miles for 5k shipped what you think? My plan is to buy another eng. and rebuild my eng. a little at a time. Maybe find another truck at some point that needs a eng.

So, I've noticed a bit of a low frequency vibration lately, usually just after shifting in to 5th gear at roughly 50-55 mph. Today I got under the truck to check my suspicions and sure enough the carrier bearing is shot. Grabbed the drive shaft yanked on it to see the slop around that bearing. Has anyone used the cheaper ones from say O'Riley auto parts or advance auto? I don't want to spend alot right now since I haven't worked in almost 8 weeks so have to stay on the cheap end for now. They both list one for around $25.
