I started a thread about headlight switches last week and thank all for information received. I also found that the part I need is out of production. I need the part that the headlight switch attaches to and is then screwed to the dash panel before the dash bezel is re-installed. If anyone has one I will be very happy to purchase it at a reasonable price, Thank you, Kerley

I figure I'd let you guys and gals know I've added more information to the tire pressure article. Also more photos of tire profile vs. pressure. More to come when I got a chance. http://articles.mopar1973man.com/general-cummins/35-exterior/354-tire-inflation-formula

Hi All - I took my 1995 2WD 2500 (243K miles) to get an alignment after installing new shocks and tires. The shop told me that they couldn't do an alignment because my lower ball joints weren't fully seated....they stick up above the control arm about 1/4" with the splines and snap ring exposed. Is this normal??? I found some pics online that appeared to look the same but was a little hard to tell. I have attached a picture. Please advise. Thanks Some people have said that I need new lower control arms......not sure how to know if this is true. I can't tell if the OEM ball joints were tack welded like some were....the ball joints in the pic above appear to be replace…

Time to change diff oil. I tow a 9,000 trailer most of the time. Going to get magnetic plug. Also any benefits of changing to Royal Purple 75w-140? I believe it is Dana 70. 4.10 gearing. Limited slip. Thanks

Does anyone have any idea if the rims off a 2010 3500 1 ton will fit my 2002 2500 3/4 ton without any problems.

  10. Hi! Finishing up the install of the Bluetop steering gear tonight and I'm second-guessing myself. How deep should the steering shaft (I think it's called) go onto the new gear box splined input? I attached two pics. first shows about the length of the gearbox input, and second is as far as I could shove the steering shaft onto that gearbox input spline. Does that look like a good depth? if not, any tricks for getting it on further? It's been a bit of a battle so far.

Found a tan visor from a 1500 that was in good shape finally instead of the mirror sagging. it has a light with a dimmer switch to adjust the brightness. I’ve looked in the 1500 wiring diagrams but I can seem to find where the wires should splice into for power. Wires are black and orange. I’m assuming black is ground and orange is power. does anyone else have a mirror like this is there truck or ever seen one of these?

Say you get stranded out in the middle of almost nowhere and your Cam sensor goes out. Isn't there a way you can just hot wire it till you get back into town?:think:What about the crank sensor too ?

Seeking some help with my latest truck problem Decided to get a new set of adjustable control arms since my stockers were well past needing to be replaced. Got the old arms out and took a look at the mounts, wow they are terrible! The axle side U-shaped bracket reinforcement that the cam rides on was broken in a couple places on both sides and pretty much useless. The mounts themselves are also pretty jacked up. The bolt holes are wallowed out as well. So now I need to figure out how to fix them. Cut them off and replace them? Try to figure out a better way with what I have now? I have access to a welder and grinders and work at an off road manufacturer so finding part…

Hi I just bought a 1999 dodge 2500 4x4 and the other night the abs, brake, air bag, check engine, low fuel, and ccd pop up on the over head consol all gauges go dead and in the odometer is was flashing no bus. My wife drove the truck today and it was fine if you turn to the left but if you turn to the right it would do the nobus thing. The abs/brake lights would pop on every once in awhile before . I need to fix this asap since this is our family car and we got it two weeks ago and this happens. So any help would be great. Thank you

I just did the tie rods on my 01 2500 4X4. I bought the parts ahead of time, and when iI pulled the old tie rods out of the truck and put them side by side I found they did not match. After some extensive research the parts guy and I determined that the ones on my truck matched up to a '99. nI got all the '99 model tie rods and got back after it. When I got to the tie rod that meets the pitman arm I found that the shaft on it was to small. I took it back and it was for an '01. Finaly it is all back together and now I'm wondering why someone would have changed this. I have looked at both setups and it seems to me the older tie rod setup looks a little heavier/stronger, so…
