Done it again another set of cheap WalMart seat covers and made them fit like they were meant too. I'm good for another 100k miles again! I got a set of Dickies Seat Covers and with a bit of trim work for the seat belt, they look great!

Ok, so I've got a 96, with the EMS offroad lockout kit installed, and i've been pulling and reinstalling the drivers side lockout multiple times in an effort to figure out what exactly is going on with the noises I'm hearing...I still swear it's the bearings, but I haven't been able to identify for sure...If anyone's near Camp Lejeune, NC, I'd love some help!:banghead:However, I recently started thinking, what are the differences in the knuckles and mounting between the 96 and 2001? The reason I'm asking, is that I'm wondering if there's a way to adapt to the 2001 disc brakes, so I can avoid having to press the rotors on and off the hub. This would be specific to the DR…

Has anyone had any experience with this company? Seems like a viable alternative to swapping an axle or buying another truck. No, it won’t legally change the tow rating but would increase stability when towing at the very least. https://www.southwestwheel.com/c-10-single-to-dual-wheel-adapters.aspx

My question is how do you remove the drum without special tooling... Back the shoe adjustment and it should slide off... If the drum should get tighter (or won't move) you know you going the wrong way... Last trick... Jack up the truck and put it on block in the rear and block the front axle from roling good... Then pull the tires off. Then take the lug nuts and thread them back on. Not tight mind you... Then start the truck and put in to a forward gear. Get a bit of speed and then mash on the brakes... The rear drums should pop loose. But the lugs will keep it from flying... I don't like this method but it does work if done right... Becaref…

Just replaced my worn out steering damper with a genuine MOPAR damper and the MOPAR unit is much beefier than the aftermarket unit (unkown brand). Tube diameter is much bigger and piston rod diameter is much bigger. So far so good.

Hi, I am new to the forums and I’m sure there might actually be a post on here for what I’m looking for and maybe there isn’t. Anyways I have a 99 2500 with the 24v with regular powered leather seats. I have done research as far as what year dodge started with the optional power heated seats and what years have the electrically locked seatbelt restraint and etc. I have purchased donor seats out of a truck that was the top of the line in 00 which included obviously power heated seats, heated mirrors and even steering wheel controls for the radio. I also purchased the wiring that includes the complete dash harness including the heater switches for the seats, body control mo…

2002 I finally had a driver side door lock fail me. I pull all the locks (passenger and driver) then the ignition lock and took them to George's Lock and Key in Lewiston ID and had them gone through. I've got the locks back in the truck and the linkage in the door was getting stiff from all the years. I power washed the inside of the doors and the latch assemble and lubed it up really well with silicone spray. Now I'm just waiting for a bit of extra funds I'm going to buy a new set of speakers for the front doors and a bag of door panel fasteners. Reassemble for the last time. I've pulled the panels off for window motor (passenger side), then added towing mirrors (Both si…
