I figured these are worth they're own thread. I've just recently stumbled onto them. They're by fab series. I'll mainly post pictures and links between my spelling and phone auto correct pictures and links will explain best. I'm excited to call and get prices. Can build some super beefy steering with these offset links. http://www.fabseries.com/ Lots of stud tapers to choose from

New here. Picked up a 98 12v in mint shape 112,000 miles. Stock everything. Neither power door lock works. You can hear both motors running, but nothing happens. I know the motors are in the latch assembly, but is there an easy fix for this? maybe a broken clip or something? PO said he hated power locks and never fixed them since he owned the truck (from 58,000 miles) but I kind of had the feeling he disabled them. Any suggestions? Not interested in paying the 125 apiece for new ones. Or anyone rebuild these? Or maybe something else?

The guy that runs the place got in a little trouble for complaining about a customers dress code. I don't know exactly what it was about, but I do have an imagination Lol...... So now I'm headed to 'Redneck Radiator' (not the real name) for repairs since the guy does good work. I forgot I had work done there before and was a straight shooter.

Mike if this is against the rules to post about this vehicle please delete. I have started doing all the maintenance on my parents vehicles and the Sienna has a bad pull to the left. What causes this? I have checked fronwheel bearing play but nothing. Stuck calipers? Thanks!

I've started a little project and in need of the out put voltage/cycle frequency mapped at different speeds for the RE47 output shaft speed sensor to the PCM, the rear axle speed sensor to the ABS controller, or the ABS to the PCM; also the differential size of the truck the info was obtained from. I know this is a shot in the dark but what the hell. Thanks

Had my alternator spin tested at an automotive electric specialty shop, he said the alternator tested great under all parameters. The shop stated allot of people come in with specific specs they want confirmed. My question is what exactly are the specs I should be looking for.

Replacing rear sway links. On the drivers side do I need to move the fuel tank out of the way or did someone put this bolt in backward and I should put it back in the other way upon re installation?

Anyone around Louisville KY need front and rear rotors or caliper brackets for a 01 2500 4wd? All are good, stopped smooth no pulsation. Did 3rd gen swap and hate to trash these. Also have like new rear pads from napa had maybe 7000 miles on them.

Anyone recommend any good rear seat covers that will hold up for dogs for 2nd Gens? Lots of choices out there. Curious on the best fit given that there's no head rests for the 2nd Gen rear seats to strap the covers down. Cheers, Mark

I've slowly been buying parts for my '01 but never seem to have the time to do the install. I work in AK during the summer and run a commercial fishing boat but had to return after just two weeks due to some health issues my wife was having. Since I was now home (first summer in 19yrs and boy is it HOT in Chico CA during the summer, 108 +/- often), I figured I'd take the time do get some parts replaced, starting with some 3.73 gears. My buddy who is a former GM tech was in between jobs so I hired him to help with gear set install. Well, the Motive D70 3.73 gear set did NOT fit my trucks carrier as we could hardly get a pattern in the paint as the ring gear a…

Two similar questions figured I'd combine them. I've had this truck for almost a year now and in the process of fixing some minor and major things. First is the passenger side headlight has some play in it, enough that it can, at times, be noticeable when driving. The assembly itself has a threaded alignment pin on the back, see the attached picture for reference. When I wiggle it compared to the drivers side headlight, this appears to be where the play is. After removing the market light you can get a couple fingers back there and the driver side one appears to have some sort of retainer, a clip or something that hold this pin tight. Does this sound right? Since there is…

2001 Dodge 2500 Cummins, automatic, 4X4. Stalked this forum for awhile. Had the dreaded transmission lock, unlock problem. Burnt up trans so put in a reman. Rerouted the grounds per mopar1973man instructions. I knew it could be done but needed pics. Many thanks. Fixed that issue.. Charging system decided to work intermittent so double checked all wiring. No issues. Also installed 2 new batteries. Decided it was PCM so installed an external voltage regulator cutting out the PCM in that circuit. (Hate the way Dodge decided to route the alternator and the TCM together.) No charge. Changed the fuses for the alternator. Bench tested the alternator and it showed good but go…

My brothers truck has no power to - the radio - the power windows - the door locks - and dome lights he also has no power to his brake lights. Every now and then though he gets them to turn on while driving or moving a connector. Haven't had a chance to go and see what connector he's referring to. My first thought was the IOD fuse but it gets power every now and then. All of those circuits I believe run to the in dash fuse panel. Is there anywhere else that they connect to? 2001 Ram 2500 p24v dually conversion, slight basket case

Had front left axle seal replaced last week, a few miles later the abs/brake light came on. Figured I’d drive and let it cycle a few times. Noticed some intermittent feedback in the brake pedal like abs was engaging. Light would go off after parked and come back on after a few miles. Also noticed a miss in acceleration followed by the abs light coming back on. Fuel pressure fine. Would an abs sensor issue explain the engine miss? Abs module was rebuilt a few years ago, rear speed sensor is new.

LED Lighting - Courtesy Lighting Parts listing LED map light bulbs LED dome light bulb Dome light bulb install you need to carefully pry the driverside of the dome light lens downward. It will hinge on the passenger side. Simply pull the bulb and install the new bulb. If it doesn't light up turn it around 180 degrees and install again. Map lights you need to open the garage door panel. Inside there are two tabs and push to the opposite side and carefully pull the overhead panel downwards slightly to release the locks. Once you are done this it pulls rearward to release the panel from the rear side hooks. Be careful older panels mi…

I'm trying to find out what the resistance range is for the fuel level sender in my 98.5. It works okay, but I seriously dislike the typical alinearity. Amazingly it is the original, just under 298,000 miles, but it is dangerously low on fuel by the time it reads 1/8 tank. You will be walking before it hits E. I want to switch over to a capacitive fuel level sensor for greater accuracy and no moving parts. I searched this forum and online and one source says 3.8 ohm full, 103.8 empty, but not sure I trust that. I found for a 2001 it is 20 ohms full, 220 empty. I know there are differences in fuel modules & fuel level senders at least between older an…
