I Had an 4' high by 88' long block wall built with all the materials delivered on 12 pallets. The block and brick company charges a deposit of $31/pallet. I bring back 6 pallets at a time and after returning the last 6 I drive up to the office for the refund. My wife says, "park it here in front of the sales office". OK. My wife and I go into the office, get the refund, turn to leave and are greeted with "is that your truck out there"? "Why yes, it is" I replied. He then requests if I could move it because his trailer is "Real close " to my truck. " No problem" I tell him, and we go outside to see what needs to be…

Mike and I were just talking about how we came to love the 2nd Gen Rams. Thought y’all might get a kick out of this video. My dad was a contractor when I was growing up, and Dodge must’ve gotten ahold of a mailing list with all licensed contractors in the country because they sent this in the mail on VHS in late 1993. We didn’t get cable TV where we lived and my brother and I probably watched this video 500 times on the VCR, we couldn’t believe our eyes. A few months later my dad (who was known for driving trucks until the wheels fell off and then buying the cheapest used truck he could) pulled in the driveway in a red single cab short bed 1500 with a 5.2 Magnum. Best day…

My brother in law lives in Denmark, he's been there for maybe 40 years, wife and 4 kids, he's 70 next week and my wifes birthday the day after, my wife hasn't seen him for close on 10 years. So we're driving to Denmark starting on the 1st June. Ferry from Hawich booked and sails at 11.00pm so plenty of time to get to there, it's about 175 miles pretty much direct east for us, the route actually goes via a major road upgrade that I was on with the UK Cat dealer as field service engineer so will be good to see it actually finished and being used. Ferry arrives at the Hook of Holland Thursday morning We then have about 400miles to drive to a hotel in No…

Is everyone holding their breath or are you battening down the hatch? So much confusion with market rallies this summer to drastic devaluations in housing etc. What's your thoughts? Mine is that the Government is in Disarray, does not want to work, is ineffective, dumping huge piles of debt on the the American people and heading for certain recession.

@Honey Badger and I made a road trip to Everett WA to see her youngest son graduate. Just a wild experience is to be heading down I90 west. I just barely seen the dust cloud and a pickup hit the center median. Then a tire was bouncing down across said median into the road coming towards last second managed to just miss it. I've seen plenty of youtube videos but to actually see this happen is unreal.

Seen as low as 1.30 a gallon in New Mexico, With the price of oil at 27.00 per barrel and projected to fall to maybe 20.00 or even lower. The American oil fields are going to hurt. With the oil wars going on between Russia and opec, and this virus thing, If that effects the price I don’t know, It’s good for the consumer at the pump but bad for American oil production

Bought a Howard Gem rotavator over the weekend and collected it yesterday, sat nicely in the bed of the truck with the tailgate down, It was put into a shed in the 60's and never touched since, got it under cover and on trestles, turns over ok but one exhaust valve is sticking down a little, this one must have been open when it was parked Got the cyl head off last night going to pull the barrel and check the rings today Scored a set of tyres off of ebay that arrived yesterday Engine is a 810cc Jap 4 stroke petrol, doesn't look to be the VO engine which runs on lamp oil which I'm presuming is paraffin, all nuts/bolts are BSW sizes (time to di…

Site wouldn't load for me over the weekend, then it came back Sunday afternoon, then went away again until just now. I cleared it from my phone, went into the googler and tried to reload..... nothing. Went into history and tried to get on through a previous time and no go. All other forums are no problem. Has the site been down or is it something on my end?

Morning all, I've come to a point in life where I am in need of a change. A bit of background on me: I'm 28, and have had 2 jobs since graduating high school. First was a gas station attendant for a year and a half-ish, the second and current job is as a drafter/draftsman for a well regarded company in my area, going on my 9th year. The company is for the most part excellent, trying not to brag too much but just putting all the info out there: I pay $14 a month for health insurance including vision. I've had coworkers receive no bill for having kids, the company paid for it. I've also got a large sum of money that is set up by the company for retirement. I can…

I am I just imagining things, or are a lot of people missing since the end of 2021? Was it the big increase in membership cost? NIssacs BlueOx01 Haggar The rifle cartridge avatar guy (PepsiOcean?) Others I don't remember off hand. Just a year ago I could not keep up with reading posts there were so many, now it's like a small town that's shedding residents. I guess more and more folks are moving from 2nd Gens, and those of us that have them kind of have them dialed in better than before.

Pulls all my tools, generator, 45 gallon of oils and coolant then the waste oils and filters back home, sometimes I have my big generator, gas cuttting equipment and mig welder in the bed too. Not many people here in the UK use them for work

I just used some of this stuff today and really like the outcome. You wipe the stuff on, wait about 5 minutes and wipe off or buff a little. This mower is 19 years old to give you an idea. It would seem my phone didn't bother to actually take a picture of it all completely done, even though it made the snap noise - very aggravating when it does that. So, I'll get an "after" photo next time. I just wanted to share with the group. If it turns to trash soon I'll let everyone know. For now, other than the scratches these black tanks could pass for new! EDIT: I forgot to mention this stuff goes on clear.

I had heard rumors a few weeks ago of high 5's to 6 bucks a gallon.. Then this past weekend, my local gas station was 4.99/5.09 then overnight it was 6.09/6.19 then this morning it was 6.15/6.25! Seriously, what happened? Its a sad state that my no cat, no O2 sensor 1500 at first glance is the better option to drive than my Cummins.. Now I really need to get my bike battery charged or swapped.. 50 mpg on 3 gallons is better than anything else I have right now..

Got to repair 3 buckets off of a Cat 300.09 mini excavator, this has Strickland buckets on it, Strickland manufacture buckets and other stuff here in the UK, not the greatest I'm afraid. The mini ex hasn't done many hours at all but is out of warranty time wise and the rubbish buckets aren't warrantied anyway The bucket "ears" are maybe a 1/4" with NO bosses at all so the wearing surface on the buckets are a 1/4" wide, pin is about 1" (25mm i'd say) The wear in the ears was huge at least a 1/16th on the wide ditching bucket with ears bent because pins have come out because the dumb landscapers don't bother with the retaining roll pins as a hole has to be li…

This is an i5-12600k, Water cooled with triple fan push pull. Mobo is a Z690 A pro. Ram is Patriot Viper 4400 Mhz. Can you say fast? New settings are 52 x 6 core & 42 x 4 ecore. Idles in mid 30 C @ 1.350 Volts. Pretty far away from stock specs.

Back in 2017, my 2001 2500 died in the driveway. I had just repositioned it so that I could load it up for a trip to the dump. An hour later, it wouldn't start. It would turn over, but not run. A friend brought a winch over, and we dragged the truck over to the side of the driveway. Five years later, it's still sitting there. It starts now, or it did in 2020, last time I tried. But I only get two positions on the throttle. Idle, and high-idle. (I think that indicates a toasted PSG5) If you look in my post history, you can see a few threads I made regarding my attempts to get it running again. Lo…
