Been listening to the news with this HeartBleed bug out there and from what I seem to understand with limited knowledge, companies are racing to block the bug in it's track. It might be in over 60% of companies software, like the banks and credit cards system ? I have received many email from friends telling me about a free program called LastPass ( https://lastpass.com ) that states this will be the last password you'll ever need to remember and the program will prevent HeartBleed, and others like it. Has anyone tried this yet ? If so what did you run into for pros or cons ? Like or not ? I have downloaded and installed and for the couple of days of testin…

I know nobody on here knows but I have since moved back in with my parents just until I get a place of my own because of a new job. I am a project manager/engineer whatever you wanna call it. I have my own big office and this and that and a workload to match. For the last few years I have lived amidst the depths of city life where my only view of the sun was when it was shining straight down at noon. I could barely make out any orange at dusk or dawn. I don't like living with my parents but I was outside and the view hit me in the face like it had done for so many years before I moved out. It is the one thing I hate about city life. I took this an hour ago sta…

Last week made a run to the city for my monthly wally world 'run'.. and picked up every jug of 2 stroke, and always make a point to check out the ammo display. 2 stroke still 12.38 a gallon. (10 cents an ounce). Nice surprise, just about every caliber is available, and even the 9 mm and .223 was offered in 250 and 500 loose bulk pack.. Prices are still a bit high, but are lower than the 'opportunists' were charging last year... (I'm sure I have a rant on here about those guys!) .22 is still vacant on the shelves, but a quick search on various sites such as gunsamerica.com , gunbroker.com…

This is Good Friday and for me it always means that I shut out the world and go one-on-one with my Creator for 3 hours. The cattle gate is locked and I emerge myself in total solitude and prayer with complete silence. I pray for all of you, the needs of the world and for peace. Please turn your thoughts to Him for some prayer today. Do not abondon Him. Just talk to Him...He'll answer. Respectfully MoparMom

Michael is part of the safety crew for this event and will be sitting out on the river aboard a boat for the next couple of days. Do not expect him home until Monday morning. He has the RV over at his buddy, Kelly's place in town which is jam-packed. I'm 15 miles away and that traffic has been pouring into the canyon all night. They should get some good pictures for you all. This end of the canyon is packed with fishermem, and the north end has the boats. Love Moparmom

Maybe you fellas have great luck with them. For the most part, my experience was good. They have been my only carrier since I was old enough to have a job to pay for a phone. I have been with them for almost 9 years now. Me and the wife been kicking the idea around about a data phone. We are aware of many privacy concerns, but the allure of some things made us consider them. I could have stuck with a feature phone, but I also was tired of the idea of lugging around a phone book with me, too. We spent months deliberating on what to do. We were going to go with some smaller carriers that allowed us to do a pay as you go but also with a data plan. Would have been com…

Just put some eye drops in to be able to see to take this picture and post it for y'all. Probably a bit more than a quart there. And yes; I took one for the team and sampled.........several times .........just to make sure.......................no more sinus's!!!!! It's a tradition taught to me by my Grandpa years ago...............along with mushroom hunting. Every bit of pleasure in life should be offset by an equal amount of pain. Making the horseradish is the pain: consuming it is the pleasure!!!

I was at a liquor store yesterday and saw some quart jars that said they had moonshine in them. Well, I was curious so I bought a jar of the cherry flavored stuff. I was reading the label (later) and it said it was 100 proof. I tried some last night. I am not sure it is real moonshine or not, but it was pretty good! Potent, but good. I did learn real quick that it doesn't take a lot for you to feel it! I used a smaller size glass and only filled it about half way. Since the glass just barely holds a 12 oz I am guessing that I had less than 6 oz of the shine. I sure don't think I would want to try to pass a breath test after only that little bit!

All over Fox news this morning... and the lack of beef in US. Cow numbers are at 1951 levels. Ranchers are encouraged to increase their herd numbers.. But I gotta ask: Where? I'd love to! Blm grazing in places is almost non existent. 100's of thousands of private grassland has been plowed up to grow corn... Pasture and rangeland is THE most efficient way to feed the mother cow... any form of confinement is just asking for problems with disease, and increased costs to 'carry every scoop of feed in, and poop out'... Confinement works ok with the fattening of the calf, …

I'd like some deck posts made of copper square tubing; is there anyway a base plate , for deck mounting can be welded/ fused to the square tubing? Other than soldering? Trying to do something that will look sort of old world weathered with time. Also will stainless bolts react with the copper and ruin the strength? Thank you

Last year somebody told me there weren't any 16% grades around. This one is in West Linn Oregon between a residential area and the commercial strip. This is one street why I would like to have the front axle disconnect kit installed so that I could use low range when pulling a 12 to 15,000 pound trailer. If I had a manual transmission, I might be fine.

Well me being the smart guy that I am I thought I would drain the hot water heater, to get all the calcium and stuff out right. So I hook up the garden hose and turn it on go out side and see how much junk I am getting out of it. Cold water, I go back inside and test the hot water in the kitchen and its hot. Go back outside and its cold, I never clamed to be the sharpest knife in the drawer but you cant tell me the hot water heater is draining with cold water coming out. Like a idiot I crawl around and look and there is no other place to drain the tank WTH

Good to know that a rotor can be this worn down and still stop the vehicle. The only reason it was found was the caliper started leaking because it overextended the pistons and leaked. I am thinking that it has another 100,000 miles on it, the more worn it gets the better it stops, right?

Well Bleu was my Mothers car and has been in the family for 23 years, I let her sit parked for about 5 years and other than going out starting her up and maybe circle the block a couple times a year, there she sat. Well the year before last, the squirrels did a number under the hood... They chewed the wiring harness, hoses and a couple of sparkplug wires so she wasn't started for about a year. Well I last year about this time I decided she had been sitting long enough and I needed to put her back in rotation so I drug her out of the carport with Scooby and got to work... I had replaced the air suspension with coil over struts a few years back so I didn't have to worry abo…

  20. How to protect your car from rodents By Eric Evarts Rats! You can buy the most reliable car on Earth and still find convoluted electrical gremlins, fluid leaks, and even outright failure when rodents take up residence and begin chewing on wiring, hoses, plastic, and other critical car parts. But we’ve found a deterrent for these four-legged terrorists. Rodent-inflicted damage is an age-old problem that some observers say is increasing as automakers use more plant-based biodegradable materials to reduce waste. It turns out that rodents sharpening their teeth and feasting on cars is more prevalent than you might think. We uncovered various technical service bull…
