I recentley inherited a Massey Ferguson dozer and the started quit on me. After going to a couple starter shops I now realize it's getting hard to get parts for this machine. The first shop i took it to said he can't even get the parts to rebiuld it, can't find any used ones but he did track one new one down but it's alot of $$$. The USA being as big as what it is, made me wonder if any of you guys know of spots to get this type of item or parts to do a complete rebuild. A buddy of mine did track down a brand new one for for a little over $500, but I would kind of like to find somewhere that sells parts also for future needs. The starter is a CAV # 1320090 off a Massey Fe…

  3. Guys, once the weather breaks here, I'm gonna tear out the "zero clearance" or "pre-fab" metal box type fireplace in my house. My plans are it put a wood stove in its place. I've done the research and such on doing this. It involves taking the current fireplace chase (which is in the garage) totally out, as well as the existing fireplace chimney. I had though about using the existing chase in the garage, but it's actually gonna cost more in the long run because I'll need numerous double wall chimney pipe bends.........30* ones to follow the existing chase..............$$$$$$$So what I plan on doing, and this could change, is close up the wall where the fireplace was, f…

It gives me the warm and fuzzys. 1:20 and again on 3:11 cant forget 3:44 hits me with the man hammer every time. Please list yours.

Thought I would share this as it was kinda neat. I have a LAN speed test program that benchmarks how long and how fast a file of a set size takes to go somewhere and back. I simply share a folder on another computer and then it sends a file back and forth between it. 2 computers communicate with a 1gbps connection (1000mbps) and then moms on her laptop through wifi and I also have wifi on this computer to optionally use. Here were the results from benchmarking. As you can see, if you have a fast internet connection, wifi will hinder it big time. Thankfully most websites don't seem to put out more than 5mbps, but bigger downloads could really be hu…

Anybody on here have experience with performance upgrades to agriculture equipment? A rep from the manufacturer of our tractor told me about a chip from Europe somewhere that is the best one out there, had 3 settings, etc but he wouldn't tell me the brand because our tractor still is under warranty. Just wondering if anyone can tip me off on what this unit might be called.

You know that “check engine” light on your dashboard? What if instead of just telling you that the car’s computer has detected some fault with the emissions control system, it told the government – via roadside readers and satellite uplinks? http://epautos.com/2012/01/30/obd-iii-the-motor-law-realized/ I'm glad I'm keeping my 02.

I'll be taken a horse out and would like to haul something back in that 3 horse trailer. If anyone knows of someone in need of this service feel free to PM or call me 423.596.1963. Thanks in advance Dave.
