We drove through there 2 weeks ago on our way home from Bridgeport, CA.   Still lots of snow in the Sierra Nevada mountains.  They expect skiing at Mammoth Mountain to go till August.

Well someone needs to get the ski jump off the container and back on the mountain.

Try as I may I cant figure out what that is???

It's a rack for solar panels.  Our own design, pulled a permit et al.  It's a completely off-grid site.  Panels are yet to go in.  We have a porotype rack on a different shipping container that's held up for about 5 years.  The new design is way stronger.  We are using an Outback System, which rocks.  We installed that ourselves.

Well that would explain it. I you had the panels on there maybe I would not have strained my brain so hard. Pretty easy for me to do sometimes.

How far off RT 395 it that?

About 5 miles or so.

Dripley puts a slanted frame work on his jobs, not for solar panels, it's for a chicken launcher. :thumb1:

Just me being goofy again. :sofa:

And a slanted roof is easier to roost on. Is there room behind your sofa for me when the feathers hit the fan?

Yes and there a cooler full of Pacifica my latest discovery since GMO chicken at the grocers.

Leety what do you use those containers for? Are people living in those? The solar panels help to also shield the heat in the heat of the day.

Mostly storage and a bit of workshop.

Do you mean you have a diesel chainsaw and all the firewood cutting cleaned them jectors? :lol3::sofa:

How come you left out the truck in the pic?:punish:

Not a diesel chainsaw but it does take 2SO just like the truck.

My wide angle lens was not wide enough. The back end of the truck is it's best side anyhow. All al-u-minium. No rust

A beautiful sky tonight at the newly constructed Jim'N Nicks Bar-B-Q in Marietta Ga.

I built something besides a chicken house and am about to go another. The first time in 21 years with this company I get build 2 of something in a row besides a CFA.
