I have been running stock since I damaged my original motor a few years ago. I have not kept up with the latest trends. I run around with a lot of weight as a welding truck, 10k the last time I checked. I am putting my 50hp injectors in this motor soon. I almost want to stay with just inj. but I dont know whats out there, I have read some on the smarty. I do pull heavy sometimes, 20-28k. Any info would be great, Thanks

My tune has enough power to light up the tires in 4th gear pulling 10,000 pounds of hay down the road. Yeah, you'll be happy with the power...

There is no reason not to choose the Quadzilla ADR honestly.   Even if you don't wiretap you can still using the timing control and the Canbus fueling control to fine tune how your truck runs.

With the Quadzilla you can make you own tunes to fit what your doing. So you can have a empty truck tune with a bit more power. Then a towing tune setup for towing that doesn't tear up the drive line or transmission.

WOW I just spent a hour reading about this Quadzilla. I am not spending that kinda time trying to tune anything. Time to put the 50's in it and go.

I believe there are stock tunes for it also. A lot of that stuff about is over my head. If I had not bought a comp 16 months ago, I would buy one though.

Wouldn't take you any time.  Just run Mike tune.  You will be happy.

Cruise state timing makes it worth it alone.

I enjoy the Smarty S03, makes good power and have yet to have smoke issues.  I run on SW 05 and would recommend if you don't intend to want to wire tap down the road.

You want the iquad setup for your year.  I like the Android unit more than iOS.

Hook up is super easy everything is under the hood. There is only 1 wire that goes back in the cab. I'm also using the Android as well and working very good.

This thing mounts under the hood? I had 2 edge ez that didnt last 6 - 8 months each due to corrosion. Edge warranted them and I sold the new one after I received it.
I am sold on the EGT 's being low and the cool down time.

Been going 4 years strong on mine now.  I had it out of the truck a few months ago to address a different issue and the harness looked new still.

I got edge juice with attitude and I hate it lmao I picked up a smarty s03 from a buddy for cheap and love how it drives I wanted a quad but isn't in the cards right now so I use the edge for guages and the smarty for tuning for the way I drive my truck smarty is all I need

This is a half truth. You have a nearly stock truck with stock injectors. Until you add a set please stop pushing this or add in the necessary details so people can make an educated decision on that product.

The smarty is much more friendly to stock injectors.  The data logging I have seen from the smarty tunes have been less than impressive,  there's a reason why the butt dyno likes them.

Some folks like that, others don't......that's fine.

Also should be noted that if you mess with the revo settings things get better, but the default levels are pretty smokey.

Yeah, because Smarty and TQ management makes the launching feel stronger. Yeah, the down low power is way better but the upper end power is not as great. Still can only do as much as CANBus will allow which is roughly 60-65 HP. This where a wire tap module does way better allowing to power way more on the upper end (120-180 HP). Since Smarty is always going to be limited to 60-65 HP range very limited on fuel and timing controls in my imnd its not worth the price.

$685 for Smarty for 65 HP. That's $10.53 per HP

$599 for Edge Comp for 120 HP. That's $4.99 per HP.

$1,149 For Edge Juice for 150 HP. That's $7.66 per HP.

$742 for Quadzilla for 180 HP. That's $4.12 per HP

Quadzilla provides way more power, more functions, and way less price.
