There is an another option to go to a tire shop and get a new shrader and just change it out. You can use the tire tool and remove the old one and install a new shrader valve.

I would suggest just going with a big line kit from Vulcan.

Vulcan does have a cap you can put on it. I have one on mine. The trucks came with a cap on it. That is the one I have on mine. You could just replace the shrader  valve itself. Vulcan might even have that. If not the big line kit is a good option like @Me78569 suggests.

I would think you could remove the valve and replace it.  It's probably larger (and better) than a tire valve but it should come out.  134 freon conversion kits come with new valves so I'm sure you could locate a replacement fairly easily.
