2nd Gen body NEVER had a 4 door cab. That is what is wrong there. The cab was extended and the bed was shorten and moved back. Piss poor job the truck lost major value.

Scrolling through craigslist and came across this gem.  I can feel the ocd part of my brain scratching the back of my eyeballs. I'd like to buy it just so I can relocate that axle.

You got to be kidding me. I got to wonder if the guy that did that is a little loco:moon:

I thought they made them cabs for  special orders, he might have locked out and bought a cab from someone and put it on that frame. Only if my truck had four doors like that, I'd be a happy camper. Under different circumstances I'd probably buy it.

There's a lady that was hauling lumber in the back of a mini bed like that, letting it stick out the back, she came around a highway turn and the lumber flipped out. Another guy on a Harley came around the bend, immediatly tried avoiding the scattered lumber and was killed. I do not like those beds at all.

Yes, it does. I think it's grand to have the skills to make a Crew Cab out of any 2nd Gen. Now they need to learn how to convert the bed and Axle. I can't believe it was considered finished unless the axle is supporting the rear seating area LOL. You buy it and I'll get a crew of Boilermakers to make some adjustments. We might just hang another axle behind the front axle and make it a 6x6.

Its a abortion !   :lol3:

Think of the work he had getting it to that point :ahhh:. Next thing you know some poor buyers posting, asking about how to get the rear axle centered with the wheel well and if there's supposed to be a space between the cab and bed.

Poor guy.

Another thing if you didn't catch it but I did the door jam in the first picture appears to be dark blue. Come on you can't even paint the entire rig door jam and all? What is this an Earl Scheib paint job?

Something would get aborted before it is all done.

Good side of the coin he's going to learn a lot and maybe turn out to be a new member, confused like the rest of us

IDK, I admire people that can still invent. Sure not always pretty, but I guess if safety becomes a concern then it's a different t story. For 10k I would find a clean 4 door Dodge or Ford with a blown engine and put a 12 valve in.
