Dunno how many of you know this already, but Stainless Diesel broke 1000 HP on the dyno with a VP44 fuel only. Think they did some adjustments on their second run, and broke 1040 fuel only. I thought that was awesome. Just wanted to share!

And I was getting beat up by someone here a while back talking about how the Vp44 was fairly capable of 700 fuel only.:clap:Found the video, 1978 torque...........

Just that, diesel fuel only, no NOS no Water meth no propane not anything injectable and nothing added to the fuel either nothing but good ol ultra low sulfer #2 making the power. Unlike Banks who totes clean engine performance and makes drag runs burning 10 gallons of NOS and hardly any diesel. Its not a diesel run if you only use it to start the engine and idle it onto and off the track.

Banks joined the damn emission people and is pushing it forward. Maybe you remember how edge got fined big time... Banks isn't exactly the common aftermarket name anymore and I am guessing they have gloomy thoughts of the future so they have gone another route. Fine all the competitors until banks is the only one with money for R&D so they have the product people want again. Gale is telling the government to strengthen emissions and this and that all because his is one of the only ones that passes it, so he can't be touched.

As much as I hate my Banks going out because I miss the power, I wont be going back his way. They ignored my email about the problem and I guess I better buy a comp before edge gets fined again.

Always knew the VP44 was capable of so much more but people always beat down the VP44 saying tops for fuel only is typically 600 HP. Now the new line has been drawn in the sand.
