Well I've made it home for the summer and it's time to start tearing this thing apart. I will begin tomorrow, but yesterday I took it to the dyno. Laid down 503 / 1215. I was very pleased with the numbers, but the knocking is getting worse to it's time to take it apart.

My thoughts exactly. I'm adding a boost elbow to stuff an extra 5 PSI of air in my truck to balance the fuel I have which is already a lot.

That's why I'm only after 450 tops. Actually, whatever I can get out of some 5x.012 injectors and the correct supporting turbo is what I'm after lol.

I'm running 7x.009" SAC injectors and a 62/68/14 wastegated turbo. Which nets me around the 350 range as a daily driver. The Quadzilla has a custom tune for fuel efficiency with that set up that I wrote for my configuration. It has plenty of pep to it and good fuel economy so I'm happy. I'll be happier when the stone is out of my cab and the knock is gone.

I see most of us try for balance.

I'm done searching. If something blows up I guess I'll find it!

One last video before the big injectors go in

Where are you reading boost? Only 30 to 35 PSI on twins?

That's reading only the 75's boost pressure.

New injectors are in!

I saw 70 tonight after playing with the wastegate.....

What's expected peak?

650 or so. I don't know if I'll make it with these exhaust housings though.

It's was probably mentioned somewhere in this thread but I missed it, what transmission do you have?

650 HP

It could happen but you will be on the edge of the VP44's fueling abilities. Hope your rod bearings are of the grey looking material otherwise long term your engine won't like you.:2cents:

The fuel is there. Making 650 on a VP happens all the time. For me it's a matter of getting the air in there without too much back pressure robbing power. I've got tight housings to keep the spool up quick and smoke to a minimum.

I'm not worried about the bearings. They're stock and they'll last just fine. It's not like I drive around with it to the floor full time.... other than tuning the turbos the TST gets flipped on maybe once a week. If it's cold even less or it'll blow the tires off.

Reverse level, air compressor style haha! Picked this up for my dad on Thursday. 4 cylinder 2 stage for cheap! Couldn't pass it up.

Nice.  My dad picked up one of those.. the compressor was seized though, but the tank is still good.  Between three huge compressor tanks he has enough air to float a submarine.

18.9mpg after 400 miles. 300 highway 100 city. Those who say you can't get good mileage with huge injectors are WRONG!

This is one reason I don't like levelling kits on a Dodge. As soon as you put anything in the bed heavy it looks like a Ford truck squatting.

As for the compressor I LIKE that... I would love to have a good compressor like that in my shop. :thumbup2:
