Dual Disk Upgrade clutch fork question
Use what Southbend told you to use. If they supplied a new part then they must deem that part necessary because I didnt get a new fork in my single disc clutch kit. If you're still concerned, call them.....2 points

01 24v VP44 to VE Swap (info gathering)
if you want 400-500 hp you need much bigger injectors than rv275's 7 x .010s are the min that will get you to 400 hp without wiretap. 7 x .011's will get you more and 7 x .012's willg et you to 500. There is no reason any of those setups will run bad or hot, assuming you choose the correct turbo. If you want more than 350 hp the hx35 is out of air.2 points

Dual Disk Upgrade clutch fork question
I would second that. There is a reason they included it. What little I have read about the dual disk clutches says they need a different clutch fork.1 point

01 24v VP44 to VE Swap (info gathering)
I have 8qts in mine with a fast cooler @dripley on one side (driver) and gravity filter on the other(passenger). I filled mine through shift Tower it was much easier for me. It's filled to top side hole of pto cover. I run amsoil 5-30 synchromesh fluid, also had good luck with penzoil, just make sure whatever you use its synchromesh. And yes you can screw things up towing in 6th if you're working it, not only tranny but an engine if you don't have egt guage.1 point

01 24v VP44 to VE Swap (info gathering)
The whole tyranny. You would be surprised how much heat you can put in the tranny in 6th gear. Especially towing. Found that out after putting a temp gauge on mine. I also have Fass Coolers on mine. I have seen 220* on mine towing in 6th in mild hill country even with the coolers. If you put them on you need to add 2 more quarts to fill. The other extra quart is to help keep 6th gear bearings lubricated. The fluid does not get back there well on the full. I fill mine till it runs out the full hole then put the truck on a hillside and one more quart. I might add that I have always towed using 6th as long as half throttle will hold the speed. Any more and I would down shift to 5th.1 point

24 Valve ECM overheating?
1 pointHe is talking about stray ac voltage from the alternator. And the mod he is speaking of is one a lot of us have done to our dodge Cummins. @Dieselfuture is not thinking you have suburban with with Cummins in it. Is the fuel pump and transcooler fans powered off of the ECM? Or just controlling a relay for power?1 point

The Future of Trucks
1 pointPurely on cost of operation. Being the amount of CR engine I deal with now and the amount of people parking their trucks them because they can't afford the $3000 for injectors. I've got 3 truck in the area all with injector issues and owners can't afford the replacement. One owner I've warned several times with the grid heater light on he's now getting a build up of blow by. I continue to hear the same thing he can't afford the injectors. Economy and incomes out here are much much lower than you think. CR Cummins... Just for stock Bosch Injectors. ($3,228.00 - Stock Bosch) https://smartyresource.com/store/product/65-new-045-07-stock-bosch-injectors/ 24V Cummins... I could replace my injectors every 100k miles and by the time I hit a million miles, I would spend the same amount as a CR engine at 100k miles for one set of injectors. ($349.00 - 7 x 0.0085 +75 HP injectors) https://www.dieselautopower.com/diesel-auto-power-75hp-aftermarket-performance-injectors-7x0-0085-vco-vp7x85vcoa1 point

Wood Burners
1 pointWell it got too hot on Saturday to keep painting the exterior of the house, so I switched to putting in my stove pipe for the wood stove in my shop. I need to put some firebrick in the stove, and clean it off so that it's not a table anymore but I'm ready to burn!1 point

is my vp44 shot
1 pointI never heard of turning the key on and off twice to get the pump running. Mine, I just bump the starter, no engine start, and it runs for 30 seconds or so.1 point

Ground Reference VP44,ECM,PCM,PDC plus TC lock/unlock
I didn’t worry about all the theories, I just read about the mods. Between W-T’s article and @IBMobile explanation and parts list, it’s pretty easy, even for us electrically-challenged individuals. The results speak for themselves!1 point
