Mopar1973Man's Adventure to California
He's distant related to Donald Trump Sorry we couldn't meet up @leety Maybe next time, I hope I bucked head winds all day the day we left. Auto trans temps weren't bad, high as 150 at times. Those moments when I noticed everyone staring at his hair, I would say, ''no he's not weird''! it was funny lol.3 points

Finally on our way to Florida!
2 pointsTrailers may or may not require fenders. Not sure on that one but they are in the plans. So we made it to the house (air bnb rental) so far so good. Couple of pics of our first impressions.2 points

DIY vp 44 and ECM. It runs, very happy
Oh fuel pressure during cranking should be 7 to 12 PSI max. Anything over 12 PSI will cause over advancement and not start hence why there is a relay mod to hold the lift pump off till started for the troublesome cases.1 point

Finally on our way to Florida!
1 pointKinda cool, we have a bunch of the little lizards running around and a couple of iguanas living in the trees. We also stopped at a local restaurant for a quick bite. Not impressed, $16.50 for a standard cheeseburger. I just might do that......1 point

Mopar1973Man's Adventure to California
I've got no problem with being different and wild. I see it this way tattoo's are permanent, piercings rather painful, etc. Again I can change a hair as quick as changing hats. I can go back to work and I don't have to keep it. Oh trust me ive got fun plans for that wig yet.1 point

Something to mess around with
1 pointPut the Howard rotovator up for sale a few days ago, new owner collected it today He has a plot on an allotment, here local councils have areas of land and they subdivide into plots so people can grow their own food where maybe they have not got a big enough area at home, pretty sure allotments were a by product of WW2 as here every last bit of ground had to be used to feed the nation Anyway the guy has a plot on a big area so as well as sorting his bit out he says he'll be charging to do other plots He was over the moon with it, I'm now looking for another to rescue1 point

Something else to keep me occupied
Pulled a bit more off of this pile and it will need +20 pistons, rings and a bore, it does have S&S rods though Tried the hone in one cylinder and a bit of a water mark that would take ages to get rid of so it's going 20 over, it's standard 3 3/16th so 3.188 so will be 3.208 Now got to decide whether I split the cases and check the rest1 point

Mopar1973Man's Adventure to California
I'm safely home and in one piece. This closes out this thread more or less. Idaho was quite different to come home to. All the fields south of Council ID are bright green and like emerald carpet. Certain comfort of rolling it to your home area and just knowing your home. TNow the weekend task of unpacking and getting ready for the work week. I've got ton of phone calls and now gotta get my work plan started for the week.1 point

Hey all, I'm working on some social media videos of Mike's trip from the pictures he sends me. If any of you on this adventure would be willing to send me any pictures that you have of the trip, it would be very appreciated. katiewolfdream@gmail.com1 point

Y’all need to caravan to Pigeon Forge next spring for the Smoky Mountain Truck Show…it’s wild, and we can get a Moparman booth at the convention center…then get rooms at Margaritaville or at a camp ground on the river.1 point

Agreed, I can't stand the new machines. I liked the feel of the mechanical action inside the machines of old. Also, when you won then, there was nothing sweeter than the sound of the coins hitting the win tray..... Progress.....pfffft1 point
