Ahhh!!! But I just got off the phone with my local parts guy in Council, ID he got in contact with Hometown Motors (Dodge Dealer) in Weiser, ID and found seals and 1 piston (Brand New!) $22.20 Piston$1.45 SealsThat is much cheaper than $120 bucks per caliper... :thumbsup

Hey Gang... Once again I'm looking for some help with my truck. Lately my rear brakes have been binding up and dragging. I clean the rails the shoes ride on and the shoes themselves. Externally mostly lost of mud and dirt. Well I popped out a piston to check the bores for problems and found that sand and very small stones under the weather boots. (I can't figure out how they got there...) But found that the sand and debris has worked its way under the O-rings in the calipers. Now my problem is that everything is fine except the O-rings which has taken some damage. (Deformed, nicks, etc.) Now I went to the local NAPA store and they don't list any rebuild kits for the 2002 Dodge Cummins at all... Only $120 buck per caliper (new assemblies!) I would need 2 of them... But the very same day I was ordering rebuild kits for a 1961 GMC 4000 Firetruck and they had 2 on stock for a total of $45 bucks... Why is it that you can get parts for a 47 year old firetruck but can't buy a simple rebuild kit for a 6 year old truck??? Well enough ranting... I need to know if there is a alternate part number or something... I just don't see $120 per axle... It only a cheap $5 to $10 buck seal... Take notice to the chunk missing on the right...

Now that the weather turn rainy I got Mom's 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 Gasser... It even chiped (Mopar Performance)... :thumbsup > Oh My! It got sparkplug and runs on gasoline!!! 8| LOL

Well I'm moved over to using my Mom's Dodge !500 Ran (Gasser) for rainy days like today... Or on clear weather days I'll use my GoldWing. My Goldwing has has some good MPG numbers after a carb rebuild last summer... (~40 MPG) It's only 80 HP engine but is my cheap seat... $15 bucks to fill up and I can travel 200-220 Miles on 5 gallons of fuel (40-44 MPG) :smart

Oh that's nothing... New Meadows just raise there price again... From $4.149 to $4.519 !!! 8| :wow So thats going be 35 gallons x $4.519 = $158.17 ` So my diesel truck is now parked in the garage and I'm not going to move it...

Like me... I went with the Cooper's and enjoyed them this winter. I've never chained up or been stuck in the snow. Which is great but now that the snow is gone I really don't need such a aggressive tire for just highway applications. So I've still got my stock tire from the dealer and I'm going to switch over to them for the summer months. That will save my Cooper's ($1,300 worth) for next winter... Highway tires as fairly inexpensive really compared to a aggressive over road tire... :wow

Like me I buy 4 gallons of Supertech Outboard oil in the spring and fall... $8.00 x 4 = $32 for 6 months of fuel treatment $32 x 2 = $64 for the entire year for 2 cycle oil... Still cheaper for Wally World oil... LOL

Well on the Frantz Filter setup there is a restriction fitting in the input side of the filter to reduce the flow so it doesn't blow out the can seals. As for return if you can tap the return line of the turbos you would be fine... I'm not very happen with the return in the cap either. If I could change that I would but I'm not going to drill holes in my valve cover. But I know there is a nice plug in the crankcase near the pan I could use...

MattyMx is right...PS is much lower on the lubricity measurement compared to Standyne... But If you use very little of the PS say (2-5 Ozs) per full tank of guel you'll be able to rid yourself of it without reducing the HFRR to much. But if you wanted to get rid of quickly get some Opti-lube and use the two products together. That way the Opti-lube builds up a good lubricity and the PS can piggy back with suck it back down to bad...

No not yet for New Meadows, Id... But for larger cities like Boise, ID and such do have emission control testing. :rolleyes Coming to city near you! :confused:
