  1. Yeah I get it. I'm on the other side dealing with my limitations too (money & health wise). I know this has been a super long running project. Hopefully I'll be able to build my project ride after my cancer treatment. Still planning on building a C Body Mopar on a 2nd gen frame that will have also a 6BT Cummins. Just gotta take care of me first then I'll most likely start next year.
  2. Speed signal comes from the ABS computer then sent typically to the cluster on the CCD bus.
  3. here is my CCD network article to read over...
  4. Some day we might see it move? I'm dying to see it roll.
  5. Everyone runs from electronics. That is why I can reach 30 MPG. Which is better than any 12V mechanical can do. Even 24V p-pump conversion I can beat that too. Electronics it what makes it possibly for some of the abilities of these engines. There is a reason carburetor vehicles have disappeared being they could keep up with efficiency. Then just understand even today most all gasoline engines are only 20% to 25% efficiency then look all have catalytic converter because there is that much sunburnt fuel in the exhaust. Diesels without smoke can do well in the 30% to 40% efficiency. The fuel has more BTUs per gallon. No air/fuel ratio. Direct injected and compression ignition.
  6. If you hung up give me a call. My number is in the contact us link at the bottom of any page.
  7. Just keep in mind the most this does is a fresh reset. Disconnecting the batteries will not clear error codes. Do make sure you have done your repairs first. I know both ECM and PCM will reboot fully if the ignition is off more than 10 seconds. I also know even the ECM, PCM and cluster are hooked to battery power so it might have some merit but again make sure you get the bus working again.
  8. Double check all your fuses with a ohm meter make sure you getting your power up again. There are a fuse under the hood in the PDC and then the fuse in the end of the dash. You can look at the CCD Bus article in the 24V section it will help you to understand bus voltage and understand how it works. As far as I know the cluster sets the bus voltage so you might have to send the cluster in for repairs. There is Module Masters right here in Moscow ID which can repair your cluster if it's found damaged.
  9. I'm curious what the connections to the filter are for plumbing? Hopefully something we can adapt AirDog / FASS
  10. If you got the skill go for it. That looks like it could be retro fitted to a 24V.
  11. I know I've been quiet. Chemo is pretty harsh I'm struggling with nausea and weakness. I'll make it but I'll admit it is rough. My Chemo crew are all great people. I've got a whole crew like dietitian, pharmacist, IV nurse, social worker, etc. All there for me and really helpful people making my treatments the best I can. I'll admit I was compliments about my looks, and the energy I bought to the room. My IV nurse was surprised on how much people wanted to talk to me. My pharmacist was surprised to listen in on my Cummins phone calls helping another member. Social worker was shocked on my appearance because it changed and she loved it. I'm taken care of very well by my crew. Yeah I'll say Chemo is rough being nauseated and weak aren't fun but I'll do it and get it done.
  12. Like my solar battery setup the cables are all soldered and crimped.
  13. Circuit breaker or fuse 150A. I prefer the breaker being it can be reset in the field but if there is a blown fuse better have spares and these can be spendy. New cables will be nice. Just wondering is the ends soldered or just crimped?
  14. Got to do the charge lead too.
  15. Absolutely... A must for keeping these trucks going properly.
  16. Simple fix go out on Amazon and order military style terminals and a set of copper lugs. I prefer soldering my lugs being it seals the copper from corrosion. Then you just need to change terminals when damaged again. Cables rarely go bad unless the corrosion is deep into the strands which is why I like soldering my lugs. Stops that from happening. Dumb question? What are the only 2 materials that can contain sulphuric acid? One is glass and the other is plastic. What is plastic made from? OIL. Cover you battery terminals with engine oil they will never rot again. Now seeing the ground lead where you scrubbed all the paint back your going to start rusting I highly suggest to repaint those spots being it will rust and create weak ground connection. I would paint the metal and let it dry then shot the bolt and terminal back on.
  17. Yeah too many issues with neo bladder. Need more small intestine. Possibly need to Catherize to urinate, incontinence is the other side.
  18. Oh, my story goes on from here. I've had a stay over at Ontario OR for my first chemo treatment. I was in full makeup and hair for both days down there. I was in my midnight blue hair and full-color makeup with blue eyeshadow and black as well. The doctor explained to me I would have an external bag that ultimately I would be peeing into for the rest of my life. I discussed the Neo-bladder idea and he's explaining the issues with neo-bladders. In any case, they will take a small piece of my small intestine and plumb my kidneys to my right side of my belly. Still on course for this surgery. So as for my chemo, they figure I'll be going till JUNE. Yup, the schedule is set, two Tuesdays and skip a Tuesday, then repeat. As for the nausea meds well Rusti my IV nurse pumped in a good amount of meds that held me over till midnight last night. I'm hoping for a call back soon and get this figured out and get my nausea meds taken slightly early to allow me to sleep. OK now as for my make-up and attitude. Everyone could tell I'm extremely positive and looking forward. My pharmacist was surprised I was handling two tech calls on diesel trucks and did it very professionally. Rusti my IV tech put me up to the test she wants me to do my light blue hair which none of you have ever seen yet. Now to figure out the makeup and I've got 1 week till I return. My social worker loves the different looks I stopped in to drop off papers that morning and she again asked about my makeup and the products I'm using. All the staff can spot me quickly and they remember easily on phone like the one I placed this morning. I was wanting to pass info back about times of meds run length and such. Do you remember me black and purple hair? "Oh yeah, you were here yesterday." Yup, that was me. Now for those that want to follow this story in TikTok I've started another adventure where on my travels back and forth to my chemo I'm in fully make-up and hair and attempting to get people to ask or comment on my looks then ask if they mine grabbing a photo with me? So far no problems everyone wants to be involved and so here we go... My profile page... https://www.tiktok.com/@titaniumgoth?is_from_webapp=1&sender_device=pc So consider the thought of my life where I'm here at home alone. It drives me crazy being there is no one here to talk to or anything. I can do my activity or I start to bleed. It was tough on me to do the driving to the doctor's office and then to chemo yeah I was bleeding from that. The thing is the energy I bring to the room is amazing. All my crew around me love it. Dietitian, she is very impressed. My social worker loves the fact I change looks every time to something different to keep her guessing. The people I see during my travels like the video above were the hotel I stayed at to the two gals working the desks loved the look. The other photo is of a gal I crossed paths with in a Spencer Clothing store I picked up a few tee shirts but she liked the look and wanted in the TT. More to come...
  19. Well, here we go. I've started my first round of chemo. I'm doing good and sitting here with my laptop and getting fired up to work on the website and fix what I can. My chemo for the first day is rather intense and going to be rather interesting all my medical staff are super cool. Even my social worker just stopped by to make sure of scheduling and travel for me. As for nurses they are handling my needs even with food and drink and even explaining what is going to happen etc. All great people! I've had my visit with my doctors and understand what I'm going to have to do and how long. The schedule seems to be heading out towards JUNE. Yeah it's going to be every Tuesday skip on my 3rd Tuesday for chemo. The bags will stay on me for the full-time till my surgery in June. I'm truly blessed by all the medical staff around me taking care of my cancer treatments. All I can say is... "Thank you, Lord, for all the wonderful people handling my health."
  20. It's a Cummins I would have to add it to the family. So there is the old favorite Beast. Then there is Thor. Then Minnie my lil mini van. Then I'd have to bring George to the pile.
  21. Ok here we go again. I had a day where I got dressed up and went to town to drop Jake off for work. I did things differently this time went with midnight blue hair short cut, midnight blue eyeshadow then black lip stain. Dropped Jake off for work. I've got Erica hanging out with me and I stopped over at River Rock Cafe and ordered a pizza. We waited out in Minnie Erica wanted to grab some drinks so we headed over to Grocery Store in Riggins ID. Yup even seen my neighbors in the store. Explained my cancer and doing chemo. Finished at the store to grab the pizza. Guess what I return back and told my pizza was free again. The crust was not cooked right so I got the pizza for free.
  22. Might be true. Ill give you this hook up a Qaudzilla to check the fuel temperature. This does have a impact on life span of the VP44 / PSG module. Yeah it sucks but i remember the whole move tosuction line 1/2 inch was put in sender basket. Sad part those people fought with super short filter changes and VP44 with electronic issues (error codes) from hot fuel. This is why I bucked the system to find better ways the give the best longevity. DrawStraws now are built really good and rare to leak. I've installed several which I've got a tweak to prevent 1/4 tank slosh issues.
  23. No. Plumb the return to the sender so the heat remains in a confined space and put a draw straw elsewhere so you keep a larger pool of cooler fuel. Also don't do a sump or bottom draw. Replacing fuel tanks are very expensive.
