THE HP FUEL LINES LEAKING IS CAUSING YOUR FUEL KNOCK, IMHO, I don't think i would be replacing The VP Pump for a fuel Knock with 2-3 HP lines leaking.

OH" OK,,,,, You mean like a VENTURI SUCTION PUMP TYPE of method where the ​Fluid speed & velocity motion traveling by an open port create suction in the said port.. Now I'm on the same page

My A/D100 is going on 7yrs old, and no issues, been very happy with it

IF INJECTOR o-rings were bad i believe you would be seeing signs of Fuel in Motor oil on dipstick

May not, but never got that out of lead acid batteries either. I don't miss the corrosion & Leak'n on the tops either .. I've got two other vehicles with Optima's 7yrs old . One sets a little more,, I don't miss the Corrosion out the Tops either

I dont think a leak on return side past the return banjo would cause his issues would it, I Could be wrong..

It would be leaking and wouldn't effect Running unless it was bad enough to be losing a good amount and effected Fuel psi in which you would have no trouble seeing IF YOU have air getting in the system it has to be on the suction side from lift pump to tank, no exceptions. as I said above you should see it in your fuel psi either fluctuating or dropping off dramatically to near nothing

I'll never go back to Lead Acid, the Optima's handle the cold and the heater Grids cycling better than any I've had, they've been in there for about 4yrs+- they have already last longer than any I've had

yep, your right, It's been a few yrs. guess I remembered it wrong, happens a lot seams anymore ... Positive I never removed Vac or Vp pump though.. And IIRC didn't take long at all to R/I. Thanks TFaoro

YOU CAN replace cam sensor without Removing VP,, have done so several times, there are 2-#10 Torx screws. i used torx bit socket and 1/4" ratchet and ex long extension

Thats the way i had my Power wires to Air Dog FP RELAY , and had power wires for RELAYS FOR THE sport headlights there till i replaced batteries with OPTIMA RED TOPS and used the side accessory terminals , Keeps everything clean looking..

YOU SHOULD SEE THE LOSS IN PRIME ON YOUR FUEL PRESSURE GAUGE... when you first bump the starter to cycle the lift pump, does the fuel pressure come up

OK, your OEM Cables were solder built from factory, and heat shrink used,,if your just now replacing them, how are you gonna top that, IT doesn't get any better than soldered connection with heat shrink IMHO.

Where does the shutoff signal come from??? and i thought the timing advance was merely the Timing Piston and sleeve that controlled timing, where does the timing solenoid fit into this???

YOU KNOW, After i installed my A/D100 years ago i used to call Pure flow office like real early in the morning for just stuff like IDK filter info, or water sp. cross over# or filter orders,,,i mean like 6:00AM AND he would answer phone and be like the only one there and i remember 1 conversation that last for close to 1-hour.. He was great...

But how many is he (ERIC) selling now,,, and maybe the reason he's not getting any warranty calls are because most are just saying PI$$ On it and buying FASS... I REALLY HATE TO SEE A/D Name brought down to this level....I WAS AFRAID WHEN THE OLD MAN SOLD OUT THIS WAS COMING,,,,ITS SAD
