  1. my battery terminals haven't been off in 2-3 years and there clean. the bad terminal clamps are where the corrosions is coming from. AS for A/C Noise , it can come from more than one place, not just the alternator and if you didn't unplug it, that still doesn't rule it out,,IMO
  2. NOT THAT OFTEN, Most of time you'll have a code if apps is out of range but every time you disconnect the batteries you will need to recalibrate the APPS
  3. WELL THERES YOUR ANSWER: Replace your battery cable ends and terminals: keep them clean and tight.. apps and PCM are real sensitive to A/C noise levels. any ground wires, leads or terminals that are less than perfect condition can provide the perfect path for this...
  4. follow procedures as stated above the hold down caps are slotted so it self aligned injector with crossover tube UNLESS you are totally 180 degrees off, and you would really have to have your head in your___ to do that
  5. i test drove a passat last year it was a 2014 and i thought it had urea tank in the trunk, my uncle has a passat and IIRC has the urea tank, i was real close to buying it but i didn't want the hassle of urea fluid, i remember asking the salesman if the urea fluid was covered in the service f plan
  6. that thing needs to see 850-1000f degrees from time to time.. keeps the carbon cleaned out
  7. Ive been wanting one of these, for a while now 'was looking more at the Passat but backed of cause of the emissions and eurea fluid..IM glad you posted this thanks
  8. Well, i guess from your perspective your right, But thing is,,Tyler has spent a crap load of money, not just on engine but looks and from what I've gathered by looking over the threads this has been a ongoing project for some time, i don't think he just randomly has done these mods.. he has started with a well excited plan and most importantly A VISION of what he expected his truck to perform and "LOOK" LIKE, and that bumper your listing i don't think is in his vision. Not say'n it's not a nice bumper, its very nice, and make's sense from your perspective. BUT at the end of the day its his TRUCK, his TIME & EFFORT, AND HIS MONEY, so i think we orDa respect his Vision and be grateful he has chosen to share this Venture with all of us, i know i feel blessed to have seen all this play out step by step and we all are more knowledgeable for our TRUCKS than before
  9. how much of a difference Did removing the emissions crap make???
  10. WF,,,man thats Great,,i didnt know, i thought ya meant 3rd Gen..ha..ha
  11. Tyler..... I'm sure what ever you choose will look awesome
  12. THIS might be something that would work for ya,,, idk if you could find it in a miniature small size and not to costly. this is what i had seen on the air brake sys park brake circuit, and not used much anymore,,, its really a downsized version of a oxygen bottle with NPT Threaded port... just stores air only,,,i don't no what i was think/n about a Piston or pneumatic/hyd. or nitrogen actuated Accumulator for Pneumatic service..
  13. NOP,,You didn't BUT ,I did,,.. Im not sure how to word this without it make'n me sound like a dumb Arse ... but here goes. this morning i went into garage back storage room and looked at different Accumulators i have in stock and did not see what i was looking for, so i went and pulled the diagrams for Scooptrams we've worked on and THEN IT HIT ME...these were and are air systems but AIR/over Hydraulic with Intrernal Wet disk brakes.. there still hydraulic just controlled by Air pilot valves or solenoids.... these Accumulators are used in the park brake circuit for the SAHR...So it appears I've had it ALL WRONG,, SORRY ABOUT THAT COWBOY.... DANG I SURE GOT TWISTED ON THAT ONE..
  14. TYLER,,,is that color on your truck from the new 4th GEN trucks ???
  15. THIS BUMPER IS A BEAST AND LOOK KILLER,,, IF YOU GET DYI VERSION YOU COULD BEEF UP THE BRACES AND I DONT THINK HES LOOKING AT THE PRE RUNNER THIS WOULDNT JUST STOP A DEER, IT WOULD DO A LOT OF THE DRESSING OUT FOR YA
  16. HES GOT A STUCK RELAY IMHO...if it ant ...IM DONt NO,,,ITS OVER MY PAY GRADE
  17. probably have 10 of these on shelf at shop but there way to big and supply 500-700psi instant
  18. it is more like a capacitor....when it sense's psi drop it releases pressure to compensate or activate a circuit, depending on model specification and adjustment my attempted relating to a relay was as a trigger wire activates a relay psi drop activates accumulator
  19. there Main use from my experience is to pressurize and hold pressure into a circuit thats requires full max pressure for long periods of time.. its really popular in Pneumatic systems. you can get them pre set or adjustable It would be the same as a tank, just doesn't nned to be near as big like maybe a fraction cause it doesn't need volume to maintain pressure, cause of the nitrogen filled.. IT WAS JUST ME THINKING OUT LOUD,, IT MAY NOT EVEN WORK FOR YOUR DEAL...just thought id through it out there.. But id be willing to help you source one and get specs,,if you need I can contact our Sales Engineer for Parker or Brand and explain the application and see what he says ???
  20. no,, i use my truck not abuse it ,,, just like you.. understand where you coming from
  21. WELL YEAH, SORT 'A but its not a tank an Accumulators are used in various hydraulic and pneumatic systems.. For "EXAMPLE" We use these in Building MINING EQUIPMENT Brake systems cause MSHA Requires the PARK BRAKE SYSTEMS to be SAHR or "Spring Applied Hydraulic released" so it takes pressure to deactivate the park brake and has to hold that said pressure or the brakes drag and burn up,,, WE use Accumulators to compensate for any pressure drop as it supplies continuous pressure via a nitrogen filled piston canister We've used them the same way on PNEUMATIC BRAKE SYSTEMS AS WELL. they make these for both hydraulic and pneumatic applications H
  22. flagmanruss,,,i think i see this now after looking at the wiring diagram closely, YOUR RIGHT Gnd breaks in certain spot which causes them to park looks to me that the only other thing that could be causing this is the relay stuck over an when ground is broke on park, the relay post should be in posItion 87,,if it was Stuck on the 87A it would short would it IDK,,,what do think
  23. COWBOY,,,LET ME BOUNCE THIS OFF OF YA AND SEE IF ITS ANY BENEFIT.." What if you used some sort of a low psi accumulator..finding one that small would maybe the issue IDK But it would definitely cure the boost creep... BUT ...it will activate at full pressure where ever you have it set,,meaning that it will not probably open till 1-2psi before the target pressure you have it set at no way of know exactly but i bet it would be extremely quick acting.. probably fall like a rock but you may be able to control this by line/hose diameter...IDK...let me know what you think,,, i could see if i can find an applicable accumulator,, I deal with these a lot on equipment systems and have larger one on shelf but way to larger for this...
  24. did you get your wiper motor issues resolved???
