Truck in the shop and new problems appearing every day.
Still if he'd known what he knows now, it would have made it easier on him and his wallet to say the least..Its is much more difficult to rip somebody off if they know the work there going to be doing to there tk and approx, how long its gonna take to do it. and note there are good shops as well as bad ones... same around here,, some shops will tackle something like this without a clue what there doing and take 5-times longer in troubleshooting and and through parts at it till it fixes itself.

Truck in the shop and new problems appearing every day.
TAKES ME THE bigger part of 2hrs...i was referring to it being 1st time doing it,, I bet you didn't do in 1-hour the first time you done it. i know i didn't as i went "VERY SLOW" AND stopped to call people (a guy lived in Idaho that goes by moparman} 4-5 hours is probably on the excessive side

See people, thats why this site, (mopar1973man) has to remain strong, Frogman812 could have "Engaged the site and Mods and members by posting a thread, and done the troubleshooting, found the issue, fixed it himself and SPENT 50 BUCKS INSTEAD OF 1200.00 AND HIS TRUCK DOWN FOR ONLY 1-2 DAYS INSTEAD OF 14 DAYS. even if he didn't do the work himself, after knowing what the issue probably was he could have called shops and compared prices to pull injectors and replace o-rings/washers. which i am sure would have saved him a fortune. We can't afford to take these trucks to the stealerships or even most local diesel shop rates are 100,00/per hr or getting close to it.

Anyone upgrade their headlights in the 2nd Gen trucks?
No,, was a problem with my rig, fixed now... your truck is one of a slim few if that correct 13.3 volts at factory HL plug, cause 11.9 is the most I've seen on these trucks 01-02 2nd GENS....At the time i done my harness I installed 2-new RED top optima batteries... Man you should have had great Headlights, I'm curious, why did you fool with the sport HL conversion & Harness

Truck in the shop and new problems appearing every day.
these copper washers if bad can cause cylinder pressure to escape from the cylinder into the injector bore and pressurize the entire fuel return rail in the head until it pushes fuel out around O-Rings. over time, and by running fuel & timing Mods/programmers i can see it possible 1 cyl/injector washer could cause 2 maybe even 3 o-rings to fail cause the pressure will move thru the return gallery in the head till it finds the least resistance,

Tyler, this looks really Good, i would have probably chosen the same color, although i would have got it flat or satin finish but you can bet that shine will die down before your next oil change..

Anyone upgrade their headlights in the 2nd Gen trucks?
first set of Sport headlights i bought were aftermarket Taiwan made, "Brand was "DENSO" IIRC.. they were nor bad, other than they didn't fit in the fender exactly like the OEM, leaves gaps between Light and fender especially behind park light .. But i drilled out and slotted some of the holes in the brackets, and used flat washers to shim out some of the other and got it pretty close and looked OK I Paid around 130.00ea IIRC but thats been a few yrs ago. Body shop replaced with OEM After the front end got messed up in the wreck

HID Projectors are great on the new cars, My wife's Honda Mini van has um...but I've never seen the ebay versions installed on these trucks could be controlled and adjusted to not blind oncoming traffic,,,

Anyone upgrade their headlights in the 2nd Gen trucks?
I don't see how even HID's can Perform at peak performance on these trucks factory wiring.. you only have 11volts max to the HL Plug`````` Maybe HID's don't have as muck Amp draw IDK.

YOU STILL HAVE TO USE SPST SINGLE THROW RELAYS. SPDT DOUBLE THROW switching RELAYS WILL NOT WORK CORRECTLY. _87 /87a outputs

Turbo Kits
just curious, have you had more blow bY THAN Normal ??? reason i ask is i had a 3406 CAT one time actually had the seal on the exhaust side started letting exhaust pressure into the oil gallery/bearing center of turbo and i never new it, I had CC Vent pressure/ blow by,..like you wouldn't believe and i seriously was about to overhaul the motor. then i pulled boot off of turbo 1 day and seen traces of oil on compressor wheel and tube, and found play in COMP wheel. and evidence of rubbing the housing. REPLACED THE turbo and Blow by / CCV Pressure disappeared totally... And my oil pressure came back to normal
