  1. Since installing the 1/2" lines and Raptor 100 my fuel filter doesn't need changing near as often. I figure the polishing of the fuel during the first couple filter changes has cleaned out the tank. Not sure how dirty fuel is from the stations these days?
  2. Your pictures look like post cards. Awesome!
  3. You could organize one on the east coast.
  4. I could be dead by then. Or diving a Prius.
  5. Is that connection near the transmission or radiator?
  6. The age old debate...get constant temperature fluctuations with sensor coming out of the hot side line or monitor fluid in the pan. Do short term temperature spikes really hurt the transmission? Or is it most important to know when the cooling system cannot keep up with the demand of a long and hard pull? Seems as if we're providing cooled fluid to the transmission that it would be happy. What would worry me most is knowing that we are in a cycle that cannot be sustained. Thoughts? Easiest/cheapest way to tap into the hot line is what?
  7. Grill coming from eBay. Like $44 free shipping. No ram badge. Hope I can get my old one off without breaking it.
  8. What ever happened to water glass?
  9. I've got it drilled and fasteners ready. New grill is coming. Then I'll put it on. Should look good on the black honeycomb.

  11. Is there anything for them to forage on? Blackberries are coming on and they are the areas main source of nectar and pollen. Bees make hay for a month or so. Keep an eye out on blackberry blooms.
  12. Anxious to hear how it comes out and net improvement.
  13. Here is the grill/light guard available from CCP. Thing is they want $499 plus shipping for it. Seems high. Seems like I could get some tube bent locally and save money. I kinda wanted to make the center section removable anyway so I could stand on the bumper for work under the hood.
  14. I can't take credit for the welding. My buddy used to be a professional welder and he did all the welds. I owe him now!
  15. As you can see I still need a grill surround. Thinking of going black. That faux chrome peels off anyway. There are some on eBay for like $35. I figure it's just the beauty ring and not the whole grill. Got both headlights from Eagle Eyes. Since I plan on doing the fog/driving light mod I figured stockish headlights were fine at $40 each. If they get a haze on them, just buy new ones. I figure someone or something will hit me soon enough and need replacing anyway. One deer on 4th of July 2014 and a dumb kid in May 2015. Between the two accidents I got $3,700.
  16. I'd use the spray cans on any body panel for better appearance.
  17. Actually brush on. Lays out nice. Pretty amazing stuff. Tough as nails. Has glass particles in it so it's almost impossible to remove. The real Hammerite is so much better than hammered rustolium. And rustolium is taking over the market. Had to mail order the Hammerite.
  18. Hammerite hammered finish. Very hard and durable.

  20. Yes, I'll add grill guard later. Plus lights.
  21. Here we are with the 3 middle panels tacked and frame rails tacked to middle section. Unbolted from truck and starting to run welds. Cool welding pic. Bolted to truck and painted.
  22. Don't worry, pics will be taken! No need to post...THIS THREAD IS WORTHLESS WITHOUT PICS.
  23. No, not legal in Oregon for hunting
  24. Night vision scope will fix that. Guys down in the south do it with wild pigs all the time.
