Death Wobble
Luke's links for tie rod ends and track bar are high on my list of projects. My steering is loose. Never had a death wobble though.

Need New Headlights
Got an Eagle Eye replacement for my 2nd gen ram. Fit very good and was only $35 plus shipping for the complete unit with turn signal. This unit the turn signal does not separate. But that's fine with me. OEM looking unit. Very happy with it. Even came with bulbs.

Front/rear Axle Lube
Wow, gear oil is expensive! List price was $40 per gallon. Have a buddy that gets a good discount at Napa. Got 8 quarts of Napa brand 80/85/90 and a tube of RTV for $42. Opting for more frequent fluid changes with regular old petroleum based fluid. The quarts are in the tall bottles with spout. Won't have to buy a pump to get the fluid into the axles like you would in a gallon container. Plus it was cheaper.

High Mileage Badges
Not much of an accomplishment reaching 100k on a cummins. That should be like kindergarten graduation. Lol.

Front/rear Axle Lube
When I go from driving forward to coasting I can feel a bit of a lag on a big hill at hiway speeds. Is this a sign of wear in the rear axle gears? I realize that changing fluid won't solve that. And with one rear wheel on the ground, there is a bit if slop being able to turn the lifted wheel back and forth a bit.

Front/rear Axle Lube
Is there a downside to synthetic besides cost? Is it necessary to get all residual old oil out of the axles? Can't imagine it all coming out by draining.
-
Front/rear Axle Lube
If we're not careful, this will become a subscribed forum too. Lol.

Front/rear Axle Lube
Spray foam might work too ;-)

Front/rear Axle Lube
That would be "Right Stuff" I assume. Thanks!

Front/rear Axle Lube
Am I correct in assuming that there are no gaskets for the dif covers?
-
Front/rear Axle Lube
Is there an advantage to using synthetic axle lube when changing the fluid? Can I use one grade of fluid in both front and rear axles for simplicity. I don't believe that I have the limited slip rear axle.

Brake rotor turnable?
Ok, since I don't want any excess brake fluid around, how much should I buy to flush my system? And is it ok to keep unopened cans for later use? Got my Motive brake bleeder today in the mail.

$25.32 for caliper repair kits and slider pin boots for all 4 calipers.

Newbie With Puking Brake Fluid
And a brand new Rockauto discount code too. Venders area. Nice n clean. What did you use to hone the bore? How far can you go and still have the seals seal? I ordered the Motive power bleeder. Be here in a week or so. Dot 3 or 4? The dot 4 is a lot more expensive and comes in smaller containers. Hoping do 3 is adequate. Although I don't have an exhaust brake.

Updated Chart Of Fluids?
Do we have an updated chart if fluids that reflect improvements since our trucks were built? Like my owners manual from 2001 recommends ATF+3. And it seems that ATF+4 is now recommend. Be nice to have a consolidated chart for all fluids that reflect current advances in fluid technology.

Big Buddy Heater
Well, I'm appreciative about all the warnings and near death experiences. But I still contend that with proper precautions the buddy heaters can be used indoors in an rv without catastrophic results. I've never heard of an incident with proper ventilation and a good CO detector. Any appliance that burns can be a problem. Even home heaters and water heaters. This will never be resolved to everyone's satisfaction. So another thread where division remains and on concensus is achieved.

Brake Controller - Dash Panels?
Just messin with ya. Not a fan after 300,000 miles of 2 extra tires. But got good life out of a 93 ford gasser 351 and manual transmission. Fenders tend to get damaged. Can't see backing up with running lights on fenders at night. Could see nothing behind the fenders out of the mirrors.

Brake Controller - Dash Panels?
Didn't catch earlier it was a dually. That's the dark side and may be completely different. ;-) that would be weird even for a dually 3,500 to not have a tow package. I can't figure out why people want to burn up 6 tires instead of 4. My last dually will be my last. Only good part is getting a flat on the rear and not dealing with it for a few weeks.

Brake Controller - Dash Panels?
Mine came with a plug in for the controller. Might depend on whether you had the tow package or not? I didn't need to remove the lower dash panel to do the controller. You will need to buy the pigtail, as there are a lot of different models of trucks and the controllers fit anything. Update. Connector is blue and on too of all the garbage next to your emergency brake pedal. On the top/rear of the wiring mess. It's attached solidly.
