New RV 7 pin plug...
Napa has decent plugs. I've never had an issue with any I've bought. But never bought from harbor or walmart either. A new plug fits snug. Sure you just aren't pushing hard enough? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

Questions about Frantz filters
Mine just came in the mail. I have a couple questions. First off the kit came with a sleeve to fit larger paper roll tubes. Is the Scott 1000 still the paper of choice? Second. Saw a write up somewhere about installing magnets in the filter to catch ferrous material. Is this a prudent exersize? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

Frantz filter for transmission
Was hoping to extend Trans life by added filtration. Hard to imagine the low flow of the frantz filter would starve the Trans of fluid, but I'll defer to your comments and just change fluid regularly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

Raptor 100 versus AD 150 wiring question
Is this a problem with old technology or still an issue with the Raptor 100? Mine has not skipped a beat in its short 6 month lifespan. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

Raptor 100 versus AD 150 wiring question
Makes me wonder if I should buy another raptor 100 and carry it with me. The change out would probably take 15 minutes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

Frantz filter for transmission
I'm wondering what the cleanest way to tap into the transmission fluid is? Deborah sent me the owners manual for a transmission filter and it shows an inny and outy fitting right next to each other for the Trans line. But shows it in a rubber line. Is there a way to do it with fittings that go into the solid line? Or should I modify the short piece of solid line and rubber coupler from rock auto? Seems that I'll need to cut into the existing solid like anyway to install the line with Trans temp sensor output fitting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

Frantz filter on order
Call Deborah. She seems to be on top of this.

Frantz filter on order
Ordered from Deborah at We Filter It. She said if we mension Michael that we get $20 off of a system. Hope that I can complete the install without fabricating a mount? Will it fit outside the exhaust manifold and not hit the hood?

Thanks, but I've downloaded the fsm in the downloads section of this site. That may be my only option. Thanks again.

2001.5 service manual
I have not found a definitive source for repair manual. Aftermarket cover too many years and motors. I really prefer old cut down tree version rather than online. Is there a good place to get a hard copy manual for my truck?

Can valves need adjusted if crank case breather has a good amount of white smoke?
Saw a video. Guy claims that if you remove the oil fill cap and just set it in place without screwing it down, blow by will cause the cap to flutter. No blow by and the cap stays motionless.

Obamacare is so screwed up
Obama care sucks. Just heard today that each time you visit the doc, no matter for what, they are required to ask about your sexual habits. Frequency, heterosexual or homosexual, etc. And becomes part of your electronic medical file that's available to a lot of people. I see a lot of companies dropping family coverage. They are required to provide insurance to the employee, but not the family. Getting so expensive that family coverage is becoming a thing of the past. So much for the Dem's looking out for the little guy. These changes will effect the most volnerable. We've got to stop spending money we don't have at the federal level. They are killing us!

Pre heater not functioning?
I'm thinking my heater block for intake is not working. Do you get any codes if this is the case. It usually came on in the morning in the past for maybe a few seconds in weather in the low 50's. It starts, but kinda sputters a little. Hoping to hear a little about what you think. Before it gets too cold.i found the article on grid heaters. Sounds like the temps lately have been on the bubble for grid heaters to come on. I'll wait for cooler weather for final diagnosis. But it's on my radar screen.

The TP is Smaller.............But is My Arse Getting Bigger???
Everyone is shrinking their product size to give the perception that prices are not going up so fast. 3# coffee cans no more, 1/2 gallon ice cream gone, potato chips same size bag, but more air and fewer chips. Everything is going this direction. Pretty soon you'll be able to stick the roll tube on your finger to wipe.

Recommendations for cab steps?
My right hip is giving me trouble and it is painful to lift my leg up to enter the vehicle. Can someone recommend a set of cab steps that will hold up to heavy weight and attach in a way that's not going to pull away from the vehicle. Don't really want nerf bars.

Fire?! Where's the Fire?!
I'm getting really tired of the government thinking they can control everything. Fact is that they just spend money like water and never accomplish anything that God controls. Everyone from biologists thinking they can save spotted owls to spending millions of dollars on fires. Then one good old fashioned rain storm and its all over.

Parts for automatic to stick shift conversion?
I am wanting to start collecting parts for the conversion. So when I need to I can do the conversion. Spending thousands on an automatic rebuild doesn't seem smart. So what do I need? How big of a job is it? Weekend? Which transmission should I look for? I do want overdrive.
