The HX-35 is good up to about 35-36psi. Of course it never hurts to stay under that.

Well what I've been told is it was just 2 bolts on the CTD... I don't know for sure, wish I had a 1st gen to see!

Well it's not quite ready yet, still got to figure out some of the problems with it. This was a prototype one built for a particular customer that requested it. Him and I are kind of working together to test it out and iron the bugs out. Then I might have to figure something out for an upgrade.

Well I've got a little glitch in the High Idle/ MPG system... when the MPG switch is flipped it is showing -40 at the IAT... I used a 2.2k resister and that's what I got when I tested it with my meter. The high idle side is working fine, just the MPG switch... Mike I'm going to try to email you my diagram so maybe you can help with some ideas.

Now that makes sense. Now if I can just get that stupid reverse gear lock ring off, it's being a pain in the butt!! --- Update to the previous post... Do guys know if there is much of a difference in the Torque King SI and the Torque King Gold??? It's just $260 difference so that's why I'm asking...

This is getting really confusing!! But the manual from Quad4x4 doesn't say anything about freezing anything so I just follow how it says to do things. Right now I'm still in the saving money mode and trying to decide what to do. I would really like to go with a Torque King and Quad 4x4 parts so I'm trying to gather the money for it if I can.

Yeah I don't see how freezing the bearings would help... the shafts yes. I read it the first time and just thought you meant the shafts?

Yep you can flip the switches after the truck is started, which is how I normally do my IAT.

Thank for the tip, I'll keep that in mind. I kinda think I'm going to have to buy a press to get the 3rd gear off/on... I would love to buy Quad 4x4 parts, just not sure yet if I can afford it. I'm going to see what I can do, maybe I'll sell some more High Idlers in the next couple of weeks....

Well guys I got the tranny dropped and apart yesterday. I found the problem: Broken mainshaft!!! So now I'm trying to decide which route I want/can go. I'd love to buy a Torque King but I think that is going to cost too much for me right now. So I'm looking at some other cheaper options, just worried about the quality of import parts...

Alrighty man thanks. I wish I had a Scangauge so I could help test a little better. But I'll probably build something and see what it does after I get the truck up and going in a month or so! --- Update to the previous post... But do we think that 2 or 2.2k is the ticket between those two, or are others being considered?

Well after reading this, I think I'm going to build an add on switch for my current High Idle System. Looks like a good deal, just too bad I'll have to wait to test it out b/c my tranny is broken!:doh:So do you feel the 2K is best Mike or the 2.2?

Yeah those aren't much fun I agree. I've dealt with those a few years back!
