  1. You could add a High Idle System so you can idle the truck to prevent any problems. I always give mine 10-15 minutes to warm up in the morning. Then I drive easy until it warms up. It may not be necessary but we've got a lot of high milage cars around here and all of them are fine under the hood.
  2. I like my Diamond Eye 4" mufflered system. It isn't too loud and really looks sharp!! Check it out:
  3. Good info to keep in mind. I plan on replacing both of mine sometime when I get the money but for now I just keep pushing them until they just don't work. Then I'll be forced into buying new ones!! Hopefully they hold out here for a while though!!
  4. They are extremely useful to have!
  5. I've had them too where the TPS will send a slight signal and cause high idle not to work as well. The other thing is to make sure the gear shift is in park, I've had that problem as well. It will be in Park but just not enough for the computer to think that it is.
  6. You can leave the switches ON if you want to so in the morning you could use your remote start. Then when you go out to leave flip them OFF and down the road you go.
  7. Awesome man, thanks for the info and insight!!!
  8. Umm.... that's a good point... might be possible though... Probably just cost money! I did a little searching and found this: http://www.sanco-bg.com/NV5600_Conversion_parts_list.htm Good info there! Do you happen to have a picture of the shifter inside the truck?
  9. Awesome, is is full syncro? Was it hard to install? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to get a little info about it. I might want to do something like that later down the road!
  10. I might look into that, it would be nice to have the right speed!!
  11. They may have not have turned it on... that's been known to happen....
  12. Yeah mine when it goes through the speed checker shows that I'm going 64 when my speedo says 60.
  13. Wow that things looks tough!!!! How do you like it in your truck?
  14. May I ask what your Fuller 6 speed is?
  15. I wasn't trying to be rude or anything, just wanted to state that.
  16. PM sent and thanks ISX! Also yes Heavyd and White01 both have a system. They live in the same town which is about 70 miles from me here in Kanasas.
  17. Those are some wicked rigs for sure!!!!
  18. I agree that the RV275s would make a great stick but don't knock the 75hp+ injectors now. It's all in how you drive and what you do. If you tow heavy then yes they will get hot, same goes if you are driving it hard. However, I can drive mine on a daily basis without trouble and barely hit over 1000* unless I want to. And I've got my Comp on 5x5. If I turn that down, I'm sure temps would drop more like before I tapped the pump. It all comes down to what you do with your rig, how you drive, and what your goals are. I've had good luck with Jacob at Diesel Auto Power! And I can drive pretty much smokeless too unless I'm getting on it. I will get the most smoke when I shift to 4th gear due to the slight lug from the gear ratio being a hair too tall. All you have to do is float like a butterfly, sting like a bee!!
  19. I gotcha, well I figured even with a larger turbo, some water/meth would be handy for some extra go!! And right now I can't afford anything either way but I would like to have it!! As far as studs go, some guys say that the added cylinder psi of the injection could blow a headgasket. Most say that is doubtful though, just possible. And 45 psi is suppose to be the limit on the factory bolts. As far as systems, thanks for the advice. I was kinda wondering which one was better, kinda thought about Devils Own simply for the name (kind of neat sounding) but I think I will go with Snow when I get around to buying something. I never knew it required so much tuning to get it to work right... That's kinda a bummer... As for the hybrid, why not go with the one from Jacob?
  20. Best of luck to you man!
  21. Let me know if I can help you out!
  22. Well yeah for that price, it is worth it!!!!!!! Rogan, those look good. I looked at those before I went with mine, they both were about the same price.
  23. Cool deal man, I'll check into that!!
  24. Oh yeah it was worth it and wasn't hard to install either!!
