  1. Sounds pretty normal except for the fact that it jumped right to 3 cyl? Or do you mean it idled up then went to it?
  2. I've never heard about using steel wool, that's getting mighty fancy there! Probably work I bet though and thanks for the tip.
  3. I've even found that Windex seems to help too. It kinda cleans the dirt off and so far so good. Not sure if there is any science behind that but silicone helps as well.
  4. If you do, let us know what you find out!!
  5. Well he's got some little Bronco for daily driving I guess... I don't think it's a good idea but you can't talk sense into a 16 yr old!!
  6. Good thing I think as my guess is the fuel sensor is bad. But he's selling the whole truck, he wants a motorcycle... kids....
  7. I just wipe mine off with Windex every so often to clean the dirt off of them.
  8. One thing I really like about the ICONs is they don't freeze up like the regular ones do so when driving in snow and freezing rain, it makes it a lot nicer!!
  9. Good to know info here guys, I'm wanting to get one of these. It would be so handy and it is nice to know that it is even better now!!!
  10. That set is still working on my friend's truck. I don't think he has ever got the fuel pressure gauge working though.... I don't think he ever hooked up the needle valve and seen what it does. Oh well, he is trying to sell it now and doesn't seem too worried about it!
  11. Buy the Bosch ICON wiper blades, they are awesome!! Seem to last the longest as I've had this set for about a year and they are still working fine. I'll see if they make it through this winter!!
  12. Yeah I was kinda wondering the same thing, but I guess a person could probably make it work...
  13. It seems like you could b/c it cuts off the vacuum supply to the CAD unit just like it needs to on the NV271. So my guess would be yes, however, there might be a better/cheaper way to do it.
  14. Wonder if a person could use the 2 lo kit and modify it a little to work for that?https://genosgarage.com/prodinfo.asp?number=BD-1030703
  15. People always seem to leave out the fine details!!
  16. At least you figured out the problem man. Kinda strange that someone swapped in a NV271 though!
  17. Yeah I missed the 3500 part the first time through!!
  18. I think it would. But the only down side is you couldn't have 2Lo with that unit so I'm not sure how much you would gain from it.
  19. Yeah when I build/buy a bumper grill gaurd for mine, it has to be able to take out a buck or some stupid driver! We've hit a lot of deer over the years with the Mazdas and even the '64 Ford a couple of times. I hope not hit, or be hit, by anything unless she is really cute and single.
  20. Awesome Rogan, thanks for the save!
