  1. I agree to some degree, these heaters are marketed as indoor safe. They are cataleptic so in theory remove that bad. They have 02 sensors. But still be carefull.
  2. I keep my 5th wheel trailer sealed up. And no problems. But maybe keep a vent open just to be safe. It's all up to you really. Mine we only light on low and it runs all night From say 10:00 at night to around 5:00 am. No stinky smell. No problems really. It's works good with the fan on.
  3. i have and use on in my 5th wheel while camping, never an issue yet. the factory furnace now has a inverter in ti's place. they work great.
  4. my gauge is working fine, i checked it with a testport gauge, and it's the same. the port on the VP that has the little think to bleed pressure,. that one. and it and my FP were the same.
  5. wow Arizona is like 40 years, or 60 years of age. my license doesn't expire till 2042.
  6. my lift pump is in tank. i have no problems with it thus far. when i took it apart for inspection there tank was CLEAN, like wow really? it's that clean!?! i do want to get a water separator and better filter but not sure i want to go fass or airdog. on account of parts are a few days out. my in tank pump are at the closest napa to me. I do not have the collapse tank problem no sucking sound after driving and opening fill cap. Thank you all for the responses though. lots of good insight.
  7. no way. you can't turn them anyhow unless your friends with someone that has a brake lathe. the store won't do it if they don't mic out. a whole front axle brake kit at Napa is only like 165 rotors and pads. i just did mine. front n rears. i think the rears were like 200 though.
  8. i disagree, my Toyota, yes its a truck. is on the passenger side and my wifes civic is on the drivers side. heck my old chevy has on on each side!! lol i see no rime or reason as to the side of the filler...
  9. what those checked then i'd be doing a compression check then. maybe have your injectors flow tested as well. valve adjustment...
  10. ROSMELLA? I will always use Valvoline. right now i have 5-40 in for winter. come summer it back to 15-40 fleet something... it's cheep. as for the leak. how much oil is covering the from axle? maybe post up some pics. if you have a tuner, keep it off see if your smoking under heave loads or acceleration. that's when i would think its going to blow smoke the most.
  11. Well if ima take the injectors out, i'm going put some bigger ones back in. there cheep enough, just gotta find me some. Thanks ya'll for the thoughts.
  12. here is my truck at 17 this morning, it always smokes like this when cold. or do i have a bad injector or something?
  13. Where are you from Grangeville, ID? and ClearWater? I have friends that live there and i used to go hunting in the area. I sure do miss living in Coeur D'alene. The biggest snowflake I've ever seen was in CDA. about the size of the palm of my hand. it was awesome!.
  14. i have one (smarty)not being used.
  15. Hey Thanks Mike, i'll look into getting those set up again. As for the oil changes. i tow alot and travel dirt roads on a regular basis, so i thought 5,00 was sufficient, i might try extending them to 7500 and see how the oil is at that point. thanks.
  16. i tried the resistor, and all worked fine. but the outside air was in the 30's today, not -9. truck seems to be running GREAT, so i'm not going to worry till it leave me on the side of the road. my FP is great, i use 2 stroke oil, i change oil every 5K. we'll just have to wiat n see. Thank you to all who responded. P.s. mike i'm not getting emails from the responses anymore, or am i missing someting.?
  17. yes i've scanned it with my scangauge 2 and no codes. did the key trick and still no codes.
  18. well that's been the only time it's done that, all other time 3 cyl worked fine., i'm thinking i have injector issues. my mileage has dropped off too. i used to get 18-20 mpg on a regular basis, now i'm in the 15-16 range, i'm going to look into some but not really sure what to get, to many options and i do not know what is best.
  19. injectors i have no idea. maybe stock. i haven't torn into the head to see. not pop tested. i have an edge comp set to 3. smarty was used to enable the hi idle, but has been removed. (for sale soon) sounded like the truck was loading up to me also. im waiting for another -9 night and i'll try it again. the truck said 5 deg my indoor out door said -9 2 min later when the cycle repeated all was fine. if i do need injectors where should i hunt? DAP? its stock turbo with turn buckle. i really don't hot rod it but it's fun sometimes :-D
  20. it's has only done it that one time. it was way cold out though. the second time it worked fine. FP is in the 20's no codes. i'll check again with my Scangauge II
  21. watch as my truck starts and kicks in high idle, then 3 cylinder, the 3 cyl almost stalls my truck, so it kicks off, then 6 cyl come back and then after about 2 min 3 cyl does and stays from that point. is all ok in the video? or somthin wrong with my truck?
  22. here in AZ it's off road only. farm and tractors. you have to provide some proof that it's for a tractor. else the two places i tried wouldnt sell me none
  23. how many orders does DAP have and how many are being sent.
  24. maybe plumb in a water separator after the compressor? we built these into the old York AC compressors we turned into on board air. might be worth looking into its easy to do and cheep.
