Yes i am,. i care not what the consensus says, i know these number are right. if you feel the urge to double check my work then come on over. every forum i've posted to about these calls bull sh*t. yet no one wants to put up and test it. i know what my truck does, the pumps were this way when i purchased the truck. i checked the FP at the VP with a Matco pressure gauge, it was close to 28, even at WOT it didn't drop all that much. i've put well over 50K on this truck using 2 cycle oil as an additive. my main reasoning for the newer truck is a long bed. i wouldn't mind keeping my truck and putting another coupla grand into it if it were able to tow my 5th wheel with out rubbing the cab on turns. i guess one of my concerns was the 04 vs 04.5 are they really all that the people say? seems like around here the 04.5 are liken to gold.

Half with edge on 5 it drops to 23, wot it only gets to 19-20. I run with edge on 3 though. So rarely see it under 23

people keep telling me this. but it's true. my gauge works fine. as does the three other's i've tried to double check it. it flows an amazing amount of fuel. im sure it's just fine. thank you for your input though. both of you. i've just getting very tired of dumping more and more cash into this truck.

true, but i had to replace parts from failure. my in-tank pump still worked great. producing 25+ psi all the time. the trans took a dump on me, forcing me to rebuild it. the brakes were shot needed new rotors. i'm just tired of dumping what seems to be tons of cash into this truck. if i go any more i won't get out of it what i have into it. makes me want to get out while the gettins good.

so ive had several offers for my 02. in and around the 13-15K range. i've been thinking about a long bed for a while now. i have a 5th wheel and a super glide slider but it doesnt slid fast enough to not let my new TT contact my truck. so a long bed is in mind. now there is the debate of 04-04.5 why the newer one? are they really worth it? around here they are 4-5K over a much much cleaner 04. i know they have 325 HP but really? 5 grand is a lot. for 20 HP. i've found a really frikin clean 04. built 12/03 for 14.5K and a well used and abused 04.5 for 19K. the 04.5 had 128K miles. 04 has 182K and is in WAY better condition. or should i keep my ol 02 qcsb. it needs both differentials rebuilt. gears n all. i'm tired of sinking money into it. last year it got new transmission. new tires. new steering, new control arms, new u-joints. new glass. i'm done. maybe i need some outside thoughts on the subject. sorry if some of this makes no sense. i've had a few beers. it is after all St.Patrick day.,

50K for the new truck? heck thats more then i paid for my house!!! it's a small one. still. empty they get great milage, but loaded i would think more then 11. must be nice to have the cash flow for one of those, i would if i could, i wana see what last longer my 93 toyota 4x4 with a 22re or my 02 cummins.

how long have you had this truck? looking at the freez plugs looks like they were painted black, as if someone patched this and sold it. only for it to fail again.

Anybody Do Any Hunting?
here in AZ you only get one deer a year, and no doe's, antelope are so hard to get drawn for it's a waste of time even putting in, oh yeah its alotery draw system here in AZ also. you can get a over the counter deer for BOW, but if you fill that tag you cant (if drawn for rifle) shoot one. Elk are getting harder and harder to get drawn for, the outs of staters from Taxas and Cali have just about ruined the draw for us local folks. as the tag price is about 5 times the local price. I've been on two Buffalo hunts, no desire to ever hunt those again. 3 days packing him out 5 miles was not my idea of fun. even if the meet was good. here you can get White tail or Muley. but our white tails are tinny compared to back east. here a BIG white tail might weigh in at 75 lb. where a nice muley will be 150-225. we do have good coyote, bobcat, mountain lion, prairie dogs. yada yada yada. hunting here in AZ she have changed. i miss the old days, i've landed a hand full of deer, a few elk. countless quail, dove, coyotes, prairie dogs, a duck or three. The last Elk is one i've been watching all year, if i get drawn bull, he's mine. I should add i'm not poking at Texans or Californians, just stating some facts. i have several friends that live in both places.

bad ignition switch? i don't know, at the starter solenoid check the small wire for 12V when key in the crank position. but you jumped it so that worked. is the wit to start light lighting up? maybe pcm, Mike will be able to help you more.

Disassembled A Bosch Vp44 Injection Pump
I'm not on the other thread, but i'm one of the stock in tank lift pump @ 20+ psi, and over 62K on this pump. fingers are crossed as to how long it'll last, its had a steady diet of 2 stroke sense i've owned the truck. even last week i got some 5% bio and still added the 2 stroke. well. i saw the 5% after already adding the oil. but still can't over lubricate. kinda like a woman, the more lubed they are then longer they can run.

I know I was getting 15.4 on a regular basis then it jumped to 16.2 for several tanks. That's enough for me to say it helped.

it did for me. i have the smaller Napa 6637 one. my average went up about 1/2 to one mpg. turbo spools faster, i can hear it spool now too. the stock airbox is known for leaking.

In 10 miles my truck won't reach temp on cold days. Never see 190, when it's cold. And if mine does say on a longer trip and I sit at idle to long it'll drop to 180. But mine will go to 205-210 warming up. Thinking about it maybe I need a new t-stat also.
