  1. I do need to do finishing touches on the inside such as painting the new panels and installing a back splash. I also need to redo all of the curtains and window treatments and I want to make the dining room table a pocket table so the dogs have more room when traveling down the road (That beast on the floor is one of 4...all GSD's). I have a few things on the outside to finish as well but, the main repairs are finished and I am hoping to take it camping this weekend (even though I won't have the counter tops in place yet)
  2. I would love to have that whole trailer of hay!
  3. Now all I need are the counter tops My friends husband who owns a cabinet shop will hopefully call me tomorrow to let me know if the materiel I chose is available I hope to take it out for it's first trip this weekend!!
  4. Compared to Florida, it has mountains ;-)

  6. The bicture is a little blurry but, so was I at 6 am I arrived here in Lexington @ 10:30 PM last night!! Yabba ran well and averaged 19.59 on first fill up @ 70mph 2250 rpm. (I normally keep it around 63-65mph and 2000rpm but I just wanted to get to my Aunt and Uncles and spend a little time with them before I go to the music festival for the week... They live 2 hours north of the venue and I won't be able to come back till Oct)
  7. Otherwise like me when I had shoulder surgery, it will take 3 days to get back in front of the pain!!!
  8. my pasture with about 6"of standing water from yesterdays storms
  9. This is Florida... My pasture is a lake right now and we have a lit of flooding on the roads... I do plan on putting a piece of weather strip along that side...
  10. I want to say the guys over at DAP are a great group of folks Their customer service is amazing, and they have my business from here on out!!
  11. Finally got it to stop leaking!!! DAP sent me a new injector and I installed it yesterday, and no leak from the get go :hyper: Tried with the other injector so many times it was ridiculous... I did have it to only a slow dribble at least and not pouring out like it was at the beginning.. But now Yabba is ready for his road trip this weekend!! I even got the topper switched over from Scooby to Yabba He will be my camper this coming week!!! In the words from one of my friends "Floydfest is five glorious days of incredible music, food, shopping, outdoor adventures and entertainment amenities for all ages, in the guise of a music festival complete with Floydfests' 'tent city', set atop of an 80 acre plateau off the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway near Floyd, VA. www.floydfest.com :thumb1:"

  16. I think it was the speed sensor that made it jack knife the way it did when he applied the brakes. When I first got the truck I took it to the tranny shop for a service and a good once over by a shop I trust, while it was up in the air the guy adjusted the back brakes for me because I said I would be doing it later that day (they were backed off pretty far too). Well let me tell you I put the truck sideways 3 times when barely touching the brakes!!! Scary as hell and I am glad no one was beside me each time... I ended up changing the speed sensor for 10.00 and problem solved!!!
  17. If you are using cheap Harbor Freight pullers that is the first problem.. I know, mine snapped 2 before I went to Autozone and rented theirs http://www.autozone.com/autozone/accessories/OEM-Adjustable-heavy-duty-pitman-arm-puller/_/N-264w?itemIdentifier=209523_0_0_ I used this and it came right off!!
  18. Post this up on MnToms site http://www.dieseltrucksite.com and win the 25.00 Harbor Freight gift card!!
  19. You are not alone my friend... I too, had issues with "dialing it in" I think as of yesterday I might have my problem solved I have had injector # 6 out at least 4x trying to figure out why it was leaking. I called DAP and told them of the issues I was having and they sent out some new washers immediately(the USPS was a bit in the slow side in getting them here, they were supposed to be here Thursday and got here yesterday the 12th). Being that I am a bit of an impatient gal, I went down to Cummins and picked up a set of washers on Tuesday I will say I stopped by Harbor Freight because they have a 80pk assortment of copper washers for 6.00 but, I had used a caliper on one of the ones sent by DAP and the inside diameter was slightly bigger on the Harbor Freight washers and I didn't want to risk not using the right part so I drove to the far East side of Tampa and bought the Cummins washers @ 3.10ea But low and behold the ones from Cummins are a solid .255 and the ones from DAP are .235. I came home took the #6 injector back out to make sure the Copper sealing washer was on the injector properly, and to check if the metal ring and ball were on the injector body as per DAP's recommendation, and that the inside of the bore was clean as a whistle like I know I did the first time. Put it all back together and it still leaked Tried using 4 different washers and finally it looked like I fixed the leak. Took it down to the feed store to pick up feed and sure enough by the time I got there it was leaking again By this time being the girl that I am I just wanted to CRY!!!! But, thankfully I am about as bullheaded as they come and I just took the washer back out and tried turning it around to see if that would help...It did, for the first test drive so I took my friends out to supper about 25 miles from here and by the time we got where we were going it was leaking yet again!! (Where is that head smashing into the brick wall emoticon?) Well my happy little butt went over to Harbor Freight and got those other copper washers and installed those... Not leaking right now(hope it stays that way) but time will tell. DAP has sent another injector just in case and I will say their customer service is awesome!!! Not too many companies you can say that about these days either (BD's Customer Service Sucks) Trying to get the truck Dialed in before my road trip next week!!! Headed to a 5 day Music Festival in Floyd,VA!!!!! On a good note my BHAF arrived and is now installed. Just have to make a shield for it now. I can also say I never heard the turbo before installing the BHAF, I do now
