Enhanced PID's For mode 22 research
Looks like I can Pass 7DF as a diagnotic command and maybe that will let me in to see a response from the mode 22 stuff. Note: 0920 ask for ecm name Lots of good info. http://opengarages.org/handbook/ebook/

Edge comp
yep wont work. The newer egdes with the color touch screen can do both with the correct harness. The quadzilla can do both with the right pigtail. TST can do both as well.

It is. Map values and range are different on the 98-00 and 01/02 trucks.

Enhanced PID's For mode 22 research
well I think I know what the issue is preventing me from getting a response on $22 A1E2. I need to pass a diagnotic bit to the 7E0 header then pass my 22A1E2. Heck if I know what that diagnotic bit is though.

Quadzilla???
you can't have v2 without the iquad. or if you do the tune is just a generic safe tune. You need to just swap the iquad. I dont remember off the top of my head, read the install directions.
-
Quadzilla???
you can't. you should ditch the pod, it is old out of date tuning. Use a multimetere and test for 12v at the wiretap per the install directions.

Testing Injector Pop Pressure in the real world
The S03 tuning does not offer good tuning. Stock injectors maybe for fueling it is ok, but the timing tuning is better left to stock for any application other than peak torque on a dyno at 1800 rpm or cruise state. I personally liked the timing curve of OEM better when running a higher SW level. Going to 330 bar helped for smoke, but your efforts are better left to tuning rather than pop. If you want smoke control get better tuning.
-
Testing Injector Pop Pressure in the real world
I doubt you will notice any difference. Duration commands causes %95 of the smoke. Time for new tuning. After I logged the s03 putting timing at 17* and holding I officially disregard the s03.

Enhanced PID's For mode 22 research
I am starting to dig into the Mode 22 PIDs that exist. on the databus using a obdlink mx and torque pro / tera term to ask for data. First thing I want to figure out is how to read DEF quality. Scan gauge says it is there. PID is supposed to be A1E2 Data return for DEF quality is located at D in the data string so there should be something at A,B,C and maybe beyond D. typical -0100% sensors report as just the data item in hex. The others I am looking at are I know these all report back values, just no idea what they are yet. :unknown 1,:unknown 1,229000,A,0,1000000,,Auto :unknown 2,:unknown 2,229001,A,0,1000000,,Auto :unknown 3,:unknown 3,2.29E00,(A*256+B)/435,0,1000000,,Auto :unknown 4,:unknown 4,2.29E01,(A*256+B)/435,0,1000000,,Auto :unknown 5,:unknown 5,22A000,A,0,1000000,,Auto :unknown 6,:unknown 6,22A001,D,0,1000000,,Auto :unknown 7,:unknown 7,22A004,D,0,1000000,,Auto :unknown 8,:unknown 8,22A009,A,0,1000000,,Auto :unknown 9,:unknown 9,22A010,A,0,1000000,,Auto :unknown 10,:unknown 10,22A024,(A*256+B)/435,0,1000000,,Auto :unknown 11,:unknown 11,22A040,(C*256+D)/435,0,1000000,,Auto :unknown 12,:unknown 12,22A051,(A*256+B)/435,0,1000000,,Auto :unknown 13,:unknown 13,22A064,(A*256+B)/435,0,1000000,,Auto :unknown 14,:unknown 14,22A0A9,A,0,1000000,,Auto :unknown 15,:unknown 15,22A0C4,C,0,1000000,,Auto :unknown 16,:unknown 16,22A0E1,(A*256+B)/435,0,1000000,,Auto :unknown 17,:unknown 17,22A110,(A*256+B)/435,0,1000000,,Auto :unknown 18,:unknown 18,22A119,A,0,1000000,,Auto :unknown 19,:unknown 19,22A131,A,0,1000000,,Auto

Electrical Article - Using Torque Pro for Gauges Extended PID Sensors.
This article covers the steps needed to use an obdlinkmx or similar to pass info to an application like Torque Pro on your cell phone for gauges. It will allow you to add more sensors than Ram Publishes for Free. Big Props to Nova3930 on Cumminsforum for getting the list going. There is A LOT of data on the obd system for the 4th gen Cummins that we are still decding. What you need. 1. bluetooth OBD Reader such as OBDLink MX for your android device or OBDLINK MX WIFI for IOS 2. Android or IOS Device. We recommend using a spare and not your phone. this way you can leave it in the truck connected. 3. Torque Pro app, yes pay for the pro version it is a GREAT app. 4. Power plug. I recommend using a keyed source of power because apps like Torque pro can watch for power input and turn the device screen on and off. 5. You will need this Cummins 6.7 PID list . If you use another app it is up to you to change the formar 6. Window Shade for when parked. Why? Because you dont want to bake your spare phones battery all day long when it sits. The dash of a truck in the summer can reach 160*f without much trouble. Installing the app and the PID file into Torque. 1. Download the app from the play store and run the app. 2. Move the PID definition file to your phones storage/.torque/extendedPID folder. 3. import the PID definition file 4. You should now see new PID's / Sensors in the list of gauges, Note that the Sensor's that were imported all have : before them to put them in a group new the top of the list. 5. yoiu can long click the Gauge to adjust things like Name, Min / Max, Warning, Size, Location. Quadzilla Adrenaline Economy and MPG
UDC pro is missing a number of timing tables for a VP44 file. I have ecm files you can open in winols and see the tables. I dunno where my winols def files are. 353339304J.bin 353339304J.xml ecu_defs.xml ecu_defs1.xml as for app changes talk to them. Again there is only 1 map in the v2 tuning.

Trying to convert MAP sensor plug for edge
old edge units were 98-00 or 01/02 new ones you can choose. I dont know what you have so thats on you to ensure you gave edge the right info. If they say it iwll work then it should, but you will need to make pigtails on the edge harness. I would recommend you gget the full harness from edge rather than messing with it. time = money
-
Well the Order is in
If I have my hands on it I can do some research and tell you what is missing and it should be possible to add.
-
Let loose
Try this in your tune. Take your wiretap fuel stretch and set it to 2000, then take your wiretap tps low set it to 0, take Pump Low Boost Scale PSI set to 0 , take inimum Pump Tap Fueling Percentage and set that to %50. Now go out, and put your foot to the floor from a stop.... in a safe place, without people around you. If you want to burn the tires of then hold the brakes a touch. be warned that this type of desire and tuning runs a higher risk of issues. More tire smoke = more risk of damage.

Trying to convert MAP sensor plug for edge
Buy a new harness would be my 1st suggestion. If you dont want to do that, then compare the wiring diagrams we have posted in the articles section and go from there. The info is there, but I personally wouldnt do it. https://mopar1973man.com/cummins/articles.html/24-valve-2nd-generation_50/51_engine/electrical/
