  5. Yeah what big bill said ^^^^ 200 isnt going to kill you if its in the test port and its hot outside and your in a lot of start and stop traffic. If your doing 65 on the highway and seeing 200 tehn you have a problem. What VB/shift kit do you have - and stock torque convertor ? Does it slip at all ?
  6. thanks ...- but read the couple guys there that were happy with their job even after 8 years. Anyway - going to keep the paint as it is right now. Keep doing touch ups until I cant handle it anymore. Then try and do a full paint restoration ............ properly with proper prep. I need to fix a bunch of small rust spots in the truck bed as well as underneath .......... keep the frame in good shape and check the doors until then.
  7. Check IAT and coolant are same at startup ? Should be same ?
  8. How accurate is the IAT sensor you think ?? Yeha I was curious with the extra heat comming from the 2x compression what that did to IAT levels ...... sounds like not a whole lot by the time its back out of the intercooler .....

  13. psig Yeah I know the MAP maxes out pretty close to that hence need 2x mechanical gauges .......... I dont "think" I am much over that as I have only pegged it a couple times ....... and felt like I was pretty close to topping out with fuel ...... Will get the gauges in the next couple weeks ......... want to tow with it on and see where my EGT are at ....... and make some decisions from there. Id like to do 7x.010 (~150) and a friend is getting rid of his soon ........ but dont have a billet input ..........(neither does he !! hahah) hmmmm
  14. Dont have my mechanical boost gauges in yet - so can onlyread off map.42psi with my +75 injectors. Looking to maybe do 150's .......... but will tow with it first and see.Yeah I need to get my guages to check my boosts and balance between turbos as well as drive pressure ....

Just not understanding why the backup camera requirement For those that want it yes the cts is great I run the full cts and juice and quite like it - no camera as I would only use it if I ran the camera all way back to rv Oh you can by cameras that will work for like 50 on eBay and amazon with cts
  17. For a mechanical oil pressure guage ? I think most people just use the tets port on the oil filter dont they - right next to the turbo feed line.

  19. Have you sent them a video - Id ring them up and ask to talk to tech whilst your on phone. Thats not shifting even at 2300 rpm ...... Get that fixed and then see where your stalling issue is at Be curious on a goerand VB ..... hmmmm
  20. Wow Dunno man but I think your fighting 2 issues. 1 with the tranny. Another with the stall. Id get the first one fixed with DTT - have them replace the VB and send them the video. Its not shifting when it should - and thats on them as far as I see it. Then see where your at with the stall. Whats DTT saying ?? I like the commentary - could feel your pain but was laughing at same time also !!

  22. yeah went of this - thx guysDecided to just keep using touch up paint until I cant bear it anymore, keep rust under control and then maybe do a frame off restore.

Results so far.1) Daily driving hardly any change - 55mph and 1-3psi and 550*.2) When the big primary lights - it seriously sounds like a supercharger/small jet - awesome :hyper:3) Full throttle hit 1007 but generally max is around 950. Previously probably 1200 but hard to be exact.4) Might have picked up a little extra "pull" in the band with higher boost ...... hard to be exact - feels goodDid I mention it sounds like a jet ?? :tongue:Anyway need to drag it up a big hill to get a better feel for EGT .........main reason for doing this as well as supporting future injectors. Will keep you posted over next 1-2 weeks. Right now I love having it - as expensive as it was ..........
