Then drive it WED. Cross fingers.will update with real world findings once Ive got it all in place. Rogan haven't lost track of our private PM convo - just been away since truck is down - and want to see what it does as its built now - will pm you again soon - thanks man.

Tranny Temp
yeah im at 160-180 on the hot line and up to 210 not locked up on a HOT day.But I have two tranny coolers to pass through - so by the time its back in the pan its probably closer to 150.

TC Switch
Snapped shafts (input I think), takes out TC and pump and poissibly more depending on RPM at the time and luck. I hear you should only do this with a billet input and have the 3xdisk and VB matched. I have no real world experience however - just what I have read. I would love to do this - but don't like the idea of snapped shafts so upgrading to bigger brakes.

Head studs and twins build !!!!!
he351cw over s472 quick spooling towing setup Support up to 600HP as a guess but it will be hot. 450-550 ideal from what I was told - but will need to do some real world tests Currently cant drive it as missing a clamp - probably WED. Yes had to notch the front of the valve cover for the headstuds

Never been to kiwiland. Too many sheep. Haha. Hear its awesome and appraently has some of the best trout fishing in the world so will have to go sometime. Too bad you missed out on perth !! Some very nice beaches and wineries etc I know what its like though - too many things to do and not enough time - especially with a 24+ hours of flying (well to perth anyway little less to sydney). Bet your wallets a little lighter

Thread Locker options
yeah guess I was just hoping someone foujnd that mixing old used oil with baking soda and craft glue worked just as well Expensive stuff for what you get. Do you guys apply it and let it dry a little before bolting it in ...... or do you just go straight in. Asking as I had to pull one out and most of the thread lock was gone - no longer in thread of bolt.

At close to $17 a quart tho ..,, so like over $100 for diff change- Thread Locker options
ok dumb thread - but what the heck What other options are there - I'm tired of paying $6-$7 for this stuff in such a small bottle http://www.amazon.com/Oregon-24200-Permatex-Threadlocker-Blue/dp/B0002UEMZ2 Anyone use anything else ?- Front and rear diff. fluid
Good info - thx So [h=2]Valvoline/1 gal. 80W-90 high performance gear oil [/h]+ some friction additive - 7oz ? http://www.amazon.com/CRC-402508-Trans-X-Limited-Additive/dp/B000M8Q1D0 ? Seems to be very limited options between WM and Autozone- Front and rear diff. fluid
Decided Im going to put on a magtec rear diffCouldnt find SAE 80W-90 gear oil.Found 85W-145 gear oil.Any problems running with that - and how do you know if LSD without jacking tires ???Im an auto so Dana 70 and guessing it has LSD.- Trans cooling??
I run a fan operated trans cooler for my auto. Not same - but same principle. One of my best mods - rarely have to worry about tranny temps - regardless of where I am.- Oil leak (another thread)
No havent done it - as pretty sure its my tappet - and if I do pull it - going to go billet and be done. $200 - blah- Some of My thoughts about doubters of Amsoil
