  1. one thing i see while reviewing all these great mounting locations of gauges is this (my god man do yall ever use these trucks the interiors are way to clean) wheres the coffee stains and dust maybe even a dirty windshield or somethin, its like these are show trucks. oh and i really like the overhead gauges they get my favorite vote such pretty girly trucks:tease:
  2. i have had paypal for a couple years now it is verified and the only differance ive found is certain sellers(especially on ebay) will only ship to verified address which seems to come from the bank accounts. but i generally purchase with credit cards for return reasons.
  3. i dont suffer from guilt issues i pulled mine off today and hit remote start and she fired right up no waiting on wait to start, no codes either mine will stay off unless i have to head north but i dont see that for happening anytime soon
  4. yea that sounds more like what im use to hearing
  5. be careful theres a differance between broken and stretched, broke no shift, stretched failure to shift under load, and i have seen the lock nut on the band adjustment work loose and back the band off, the nut will be just siting in the bottom of the trans pan when removed
  6. sounds like a winner to me, ill ****** the leads off tommorrow and see. i dont really see a need for the grid heater in mississippi although my buddy has a powerstroke and his MUST be plugged in in the winter down here and i use every opportunity i can to make fun of his ive even went as far as to mail him a glow plug when he calls and complains. thats money well spent!!!
  7. http://forum.mopar1973man.com/showthread.php/1278-Switched-Grid-Heater?highlight=switch+grid+heater that is sweet and i was curious if anybody ever did try it on 2000-02 and if it threw the check engine light. i really have no need for the grid heater in my neck of the woods and my remote start system waits for the wait to start light to turn off so this modification might be right up my alley. thanks.
  8. is that the top secret toggle switch that engages the clutch drive on the auxillary supercharger that drops your truck down in the 8's through the quarter mile/ orrrrrrr does it turn on the fog lights:tongue:
  9. my employee took mine out while changing th oil in my truck last week, i hear a big differance, annoying at first but it grew on me i think ill leave it out but keep it around just incase a long trip comes along

  12. i just scored some used compressors and air tanks off a bagged lowrider time to put them to good use on a real truck, my honk honk is coming shortly behind you. i also want some leveling bags on rear axle. hope yours goes smooth and ill drop some picks of my low budget build when done.

  14. man i'm getting cold just reading this. here on the beach it's 98 with a heat index well over 105 . i lived in colorado for about 8 months and could not handle the cold and never heard of a wind chill factor had to move back home. beautiful landscape up in the mountain though.
  15. a lifetime warranty on a vp-44, i guess it would be the lifetime of the buisness and not the pump because they probably wont be around long.
  16. define tech specialist please
  17. i still suggest running vehicle with alt. output wire disconnected the batteries will keep the vehicle alive for a good 1/2 hour no problems
  18. you need to check the condition of the fluid, it should be a pretty deep red color with no grit, a brownish tint to the fluid is bad news signs of overheating and clutch slip this will signify mechanical issues. if you got some gung ho you could try adjusting the bands on the tranny one is external the other internal(have to drop the pan) good time for a filter change and youll see how much clutch material is in the pan. if you go this route i can pull and post instructions for band adjustments or someone will throw it out there before me.
  19. you are correct on the tears of with and without crank sensors but you cant admit to being human it kills the know it all stigma that surrounds the mopar man. its kinda like when the wizard of oz came out from behind the curtain for dorthy.

  23. hey man a quick suggestion, you need to give a little more info about what you drive and maybe what youve done to diagnoise the situation before you get many responses but good luck if i can give some help youll hear from me soon:smart:
  24. i doubt the 44 returns near that much, i know a n-14 cummins has a huge return but a mercedes 4000 has almost no return, can only speak to these engines from manufacturing training most of my diesel knowledge comes from semi work thats why i bought my truck, lots of freightliners were equiped with isb and i enjoyed working on this engine and the m-11 cummins
