  1. Just in case you blow another fuse, you might wont to get you some 20's and one 30 amp because if you have the same problem with your airdog as I did you will need them:lmao:
  2. Mine has part number on the housing 7275C3
  3. I totaly agree on not trusting the dash. But if it's cal. to the ecm what would cause the diff. oil pressures between two motors with the same ecm?
  4. I definetly have higher oil pressure than the old motor, I took the sender out of my old motor and put in my new motor and it is on the next line up from 40 :thumb1:The old motor ran on 40 at idle and just a hair over 40 at 2k rpm. now it Idles a hair below the next line up and over when at 2k rpm.
  5. Should I be able to hit 30's with 85 ambients ? Mine ran 29 degrees in 100 ambients with 90% humidity. Snow balls in the summer time :lmao:But that was a brand new system, evap, compressor, and the line with the filter cant remember what ya call it.
  6. I know I have read this before but here goes anyway. My old motor ran around 40 plus on the oil pressure, new motor runs on the edge of the next mark up. A big diff. from before, and I know it could be the sending unit which I can swap out sence I have a new one on my old motor. What would the next mark up be? And where does your gauge run?
  7. Ok I get it the feon gases are removed also with the moisture.
  8. Can you take a pic of the line in question? I may have one.
  9. Good info, keep up the good work:smart:
  10. Mike and I kinda hit on the subject this morning, I played around with the 7 - 17 the 8-18 the 12- 22, and from my experince (old motor) the 12 -22 I thought ran better. Not talking hp or anything but just daily driving. While on the subject, my new motor the valve lash was really cool. I checked the intakes before adj. and they where all 14 then checked all the exhaust 24. I thought that was weired that they where all 4 th diff. intake and exhaust. This motor I know has never been adj. I still talk to the owner. The mileage is 180k before valve adj. I also dont like the rotate of the motor backwards to adj. valves:shrug:

  12. Yea I think I can put away the paddle's. So used to having to jump start the old one.
  13. Its so nice to have a good running truck again.
  14. It's Tuesday right?
  15. I had to pull my evap. out to get motor out, there was no way to work around it, I know some have done it but. Anyway, I am trying to get my A/C back to 29 degree . What we did is record the temp 65 the humidity 72 and the pressure on the line (not running) was at 30. If I get luck and the temp's are the same I am going to shoot for it. But of course we will go by the sticker first then see what we can do.My a/c used to freeze you out at 29 degree in 100 degree weather and humidity. My question is what do you do about the liquid from the feon that's traped in the lines? Like what was mentioned, the liquid messes with the pressure in the system. It almost seem like the thing to do would be to empty the system and start over.
  16. Yea I pulled the mounts and it almost fell out:lmao: I put a floor jack under the trans with a 3" channel for a cradle and it sets there perfect.I got a 1k hoist and that's all see can handle. How much you think it weighs?
  17. Wheel bearing greese? I have Amsoil greese also. It's south bend clutch I installed about three years ago and it is perfect other than the greese. And the greese probably would have made it a while longer. I really cant get over the fiber on the clutch its practically like new. :thumb1:Is this a mess or what?
  18. I am installing new eng. and have a few questions. I am not a clutch expert but here gose. What brand of gresse should I go back with on shaft that throw out bearing slides on? It had a little but was getting dry and hard. Also shouldnt the splines that the clutch rides on have a little? You can see it had some at one time but is dry now.
  19. I guess I will just put the old exhaust man. on the other eng. The reason I was going to tap it was I tap the old man. in the wrong place, it's on the 123 cylinder side:doh:Cant be to far off, you think?
  20. I may have found the wrong tap then. I found a 12mm x 1.75 This is for my pyro.
  21. I found my thread tap, but what size drill bit. For pircol gauges.
  22. If you have it on defrost it will do the samething as have it on A/C. Its pulling moisture out of the air.
  23. I was about to move my DDP50's over into my new to me motor, I went down to injection rebuild shop and got some new copper washers. So I should wait and get new ones from DDP and not use these I just bought.Sorry for all the questions.
  24. When I was 18 I worked at a Honda and Harley and this customer brought his ct110 in for his 250 mile check up. Which includes oil change, well guess what, you guessed it I forgot to fill with oil. This guy road it home, just shy of making it home he calls eng. died. We go pick it up and I got the a$$ chewing of the centry. We get it back and I start tearing it down, overhauled with .20 over on cylinder two new valves and up in running by the end of the day.:lmao:I have never forgot that day.
