When I set out to buy a truck I didnt plan on finding what I did. She is sharp, been garage kept sence it was new in 05. The guy was totally a neat freak I mean not even a speck of dirt anywhere. His wife came back from the grocery store while we where looking at the truck and she unloads the groceries and starts cleaning the Lincoln navigator all that was there was groceries it's like she just hauled a load of wood or something.Her Lincoln was a 98 and it looked like a 2010.Anyway she has 38k on the clock, 6k miles a year:lmao: can you see me welding out of this truck:clap: I gave 24k and it list for 27, I belive it could bring 29 just on how clean it is and low miles. Anyway it's a auto trans, so who do I get a valve body from and do I need tourqe converter? What is this I hear about a solenoid inside the trans that needs to be replaced? And what do I run for air filter looks a little tight for BHAF. Does this exhaust have a catalytic converter or is it a resonator. It needs new batts, is there anything I need to be cautious about taking these out? I mean just breaking the power supply. And what is your thoughts on two stroke oil?I hammered on it a little and it rolls a little blackish/brown smoke, is this normal? I had to clean the rear fender after about two hunderd miles it wasnt bad just a little dirty.

I dont remember if this is a 8' bed or not. Been checking my fuel mileage since I installed my 2nd hand motor and running 60-65 been getting 15.2 pretty regiously. (I need to up date my weight on my sig. but anyway I weigh around 11k.) Getting 14 pulling trailer 7k. My best was 16.3 driving 55-58. Now that is stock everything except 5" exhaust and BHAF.Today I put my DDP50hp injectors in and we'll see what it does. I now this eng. is a lot quieter. Next I will put EZ back on. I can say this stock s----

Shop vac will come in handie while doing this. Not the best way but may work.

Do the common rails have the needle roller bearing's on the pilot shaft? I am looking to get a 04 or a 05 and just thinking what I need to replace. A truck with 130k will need a fresh clutch if anything like my 01 was.

So if I get a 03 or early 04 they are a little better truck? And if I get a auto make sure its a 48re and install valve body and torqe converter? Or better just stay with manual.

So how are the auto's in these trucks. I would like to run a auto just because I am getting lazy in my old age but dont wont trouble either.I will be pulling 4030 John Deere with buck and wheele weights total 14k and hauling hay (if it ever rains again).

I would say yes, because just like a bad conection and low batt is the same. I was blowing fusses on my airdog 100 and it finally just quit. AirDog sent a replacement asap no questions asked, just tell them what you have going on and a new one is on the way.But if your like me and you need to get going the next day, I bought one and sold the replacement when it arrived.

I guess a AirDog would be the solution? What size would be my next question?

I have owned my 01 3500 for 4 years now and know just about everything about them. What am I looking for on the CR motor and are there any specific years to avoid and why?

I made it thru two mini strokes a couple years ago, it's no fun. I just lost my mother last week to heart failure. Massive heart attack, EMS said maybe 6 - 8 seconds and she was gone.
