I am looking for a post that had deep trans pan with extension. It was not BD or ATS I have done searches and nothing. I am starting to think I dreamed it. It was in the price range of 230.00 with drain plug and temp plug.Can anyone helpThanks

I have a 05 with the 48 and am getting a deep trans pan with a temp gauge to be safe. My goose neck empty weights 7k. This is my first auto and dont like it just due to the fact of not knowing.

Yea p341 came up twice and there was a 380 grid heater, but I have no grid heater wires or rely everything has been removed.

Its funny , nothing has changed, I watch the tach everytime I start it to see if there is a miss or something and it never stumbles or anything. The light just comes on. I went out and pushed on the conector to make sure it is conected. I have been taking my time to start though, I let the lights go off before I start. That shouldnt matter though.

I have replced my cam sensor everytime (almost) everytime I replaced my vp and now I keep getting CEL. I erase the code and about two days later it comes back on. No miss no nothing running good. I have about three of them at the shop, I can put it in no problem it just pisses me off because its about three months old. What will the cam sensor do if I just keep running it? I guess I should put one the the tool box though

Dont worry about the timing issue, just watch the keyway when it gets at the top your good to go. Everybody likes the keyway at the top, heck put it at the bottom if you wont, I've dun it And you can leave the three lines on the eng againts the block. You just need to loosen them. It really is a peace of cake when your done.

Hey John, man I think you could do it in 1 1/2 days easy thats if you really took your time and being your first time. And dont worry about the vp it's not hard at all just take your time and take it easy not to dump the key way when your putting it back in. And it will take some dumping just dont slam it around, as far as the key way goes it probley wont move seeing it has been in the truck this long. When you go to bolt it up just take you some bright paint like orange or something, paint the keyway then take a small miror and check it when you have a couple nuts holding in place.

My nv 4500 was heavy enough and it's in a 2wd. I would think you will need a trans jack for sure. I used a reg. floor jack and balanced it.

Talk about lost, let's make this simple, the line that comes off the bottom of the resoviar has a smaller line (return) coming from the brake boost which goes to the cooler. Take that line off raise front tires off ground and turn steering wheel back and fourth, add oil and do one more time?

Just changing fluid and top off with Amsoil ATF.

I need to drain power steering fluid and from what I can see, right where it goes into power steering cooler there is a low pressure clamp on the hose, would this drain the entire system with eng running?

Do you have a link handy for this cooler? Mine is a 2005 48R, is there a diff?

I here ya, I was going out to buy me a replacement welding truck when I found my 05. It is slick, never been drove in the rain and only had 37k on it when I bought it. Average 5k mile a year. Got to buy new tires because there dry rotted . Gave 24k for it, so it will be the closest think I will ever have to a new truck.Now I am trying to decide weather to buy six new tires or five and use the spare. You think the spare might blow and take a fende out? Its been under truck all this time.Whats a 195.00 bucks compared to running around with no fender

I was looking at Genos Garage checking out there auto trans pans. It claims to include trans filter extension, gauge tap, and magnetic drain plug, and up to 4 extra quarts of oil. 270.00. Are they worth it?
