Just to stir the pot, I weight about 11k (rigged out welding tk) Before the blue chip vp and nothing changed 14.75 avg. best 15.25 with EZ and rv275 - 1st blue chip vp 15.0 no matter what, up hill, in town, 15 and no mods. . 2nd blue chip vp 16.0 avg. I have got 17 on flat at 55 and no modsThis new to me eng. I am going to install, guy said he avg. about 19-20 on a 3/4 ton 2wd stock everything auto trans.I am curious why a rattling truck with 252k that weighs 11k gets what it does. would this dully get 19-20 if it where stock? I bought it and had it losded out before I could check mileage.New to me eng., I think I am going to run no ez and no ddp50hp and see what happens. I really think I need to put the blue chip pump in while it's easy though.

Yea I dont know what it is about that. I have a batt out of my old 7.3 that is running my electric gate at the shop, when I put it in I thought it will be good for a little while, and now it's been going for 5 years I just that it keeps going.

So hook up grid heater back up to help with warm up. Even though it kills the batts and hard on regulator.

I dont mean to high jack but am I understanding it right when you say dont let it idle long? You say go ahead and start lightly driving to keep build up from forming? And is this build up in the form of fuel in crank case?

Will the apps off a auto work on a standard? And are the injectors out of a auto the same as in a standard? Both are 01 SO motors.

I went and looked at it and listen to it and it sounds to good to be true. It's nice and clean, quite, it's to weird.i am used to having to slice through the bull s---. The guy is young polite got all his drinking days behind him. All stock no mods. not even the intake or exhaust:hyper: I am stoked about it. Going to pull it out tomorrow I hope.It's a auto, only down side. But I have all new parts. Question, is the apps the same in a auto as a standard?And are the injectors the same in a auto as a standard?

Electronics wont be a problem for me I already been there . I am getting a fair amount of spare parts. Have two stock clutches with pressure plate if you know anyone needing one. Lots of rockers.Going to listen to future new to me eng. tomorrow, its complete with assy.
