  1. Facebook said it was "offensive to imply that someone was worth keeping" = offensive. dump a girlfriend to buy truck parts= okay
  2. We used to put a disclaimer on it: "If she is a keeper dont be a fool! If you are married... you already know the rules." (but Facebook said the disclaimer was offensive... go figure!)
  3. Check on the banner tomorrow. www.dieselautopower.com Its our "Dump your Girlfriend" sale.... who is going to be there for you in a year ... your girlfriend or your truck? its silly, its fun.... we don't want anyone to get dumped for truck parts...
  4. Getting good used parts is a great way to get started. FYI +150HP injectors are less than $400 from us. We have a sale starting tomorrow for more than $50 off.
  5. I understand being frustrated and not getting the support you wanted. Thank you for sharing.
  6. Good work Nick! Would like to verify there is not a boost leak. After a few more days of running them and some MPG charting I will ask you what pressure you prefer and for what purpose/application. AWESOME write up!
  7. Bigger injectors and a Quadzilla? FYI our DAP50HP flow about 10% more fuel and are less expensive. One can also get injectors built on new Bosch bodies for any size... It adds some cost though.
  8. We have worked with Contagious and our experience is that he does good work. I cannot speak to why the 6x.013 did not run right. @Dieselfuture At one time we did sell the RV275 with no core, we changed that and dropped the price to try to make up the difference. Its hard to acquire cores for building injectors.
  9. Cool! We polish up the shank on the nozzle but only clean the tips/holes very lightly. should be +/- 0.03 lpm per set so thats only about 1-2% spread in flow across the set.
  10. Is there any soot on the tip of the nozzle? The flow should be the same even if they are new ones. Flow is within 1% on the nozzles.
  11. Please check the yellow sticker in the upper right corner. Pressure is written in pen over the build date. If you have more questions please let me know.
  12. With NV5600 I have to shift 1 extra time before I hit 60mph. Shifts are not as smooth as a nv4500 either.
  13. Sorry we sent the wrong housing initially. Did the exchange go smoothly? How is the set up running now?
  14. Ease out of the throttle and should fix it. Bigger high pressure lines and drilled out fuel connector tubes seem to make it worse.
  15. Mike, I need to get on here more. We are grateful to you and your support for Dodge/Cummins enthusiasts. Want to thank you again for your patience and support. Hope 2018 will be a great year for you.
  16. @d Sorry about your turbo... How much boost did you hit? If you want to put the HE351VGT that would be fun to play with. If you want 500-550HP the 62/68 sxe would be great! If you want closer to 600HP the 64.5 will not take much longer to spool. Sure we can include a couple. Please email sales@dieselautopower.com and they should be able to get it in the box for you. Its common for injector pressures to settle a little.
  17. @Dodgeih Probably need common rail o-rings. They are bigger and thicker.
  18. Thank you for the update!
  19. Its easy to get behind this time of year... after black Friday we were 3-5 days out for 2 weeks for many builds. Factor in employee time off, family, and getting sick its a tough time to stay on top of orders. We appreciate the patience given by customers when we had delays.
  20. Those of you who have popped injectors know its difficult to get them within 5 bar. for 7x.012 305BAR is the lower end of what we want to have them set at. Still in the range, but we are trying to move up a little more in hopes of better atomization and less smoke.
  21. Others put out this information as well. We were certainly not the first. We have put out pop pressure on most of the injectors we sell, and now try to do it on all of them. Others have been doing this for years. It was not my idea, but on its face it makes sense. We adopted it.
  22. Typically we target 305BAR for 100HP and under, 310BAR for 150HP, and 315BAR for 250HP and up
  23. I am concerned that 20 BAR may not show much difference in data, but I guess we can re-shim the other set to whatever you want.
  24. I am sending a set to Nick at 310 BAR. 7x.012VCO @same flow at the nozzles as what he has now. Nick wants to see more data on std vs higher pop off pressure.
