  3. you might check these guys out i talked with them when I had my tranny built and needed a tranny case they were very helpful. http://www.standardtransmission.com/installation-manuals-and-pictures.html#TOP
  4. well i found another part that i thought i would get some feelings/opinions on it. it is the pn#1100 kit http://www.4x4posi-lok.com/app_dodge.html. thanks guys.
  5. well basically the only way you could have it is to have the posi lock cable. what we are referring to is actully leaving the front end disconnected and putting the tcase in LO range then you have the advantage of the LO gearing and slow speed to back up a trailer or anything else that comes to mind while having the ease of steering with out fighting the "true" four wheel drive! i hope i explained that ok.
  6. sounds like the torque conveter lockup!!! i dont know where exactly but trying doing a search for this.
  7. it sounds like its time for a rebuild!!!:banghead:
  8. i believe when this start to happen its usually a worn out retainer in the tranny the lets the main shaft move around a bit.
  9. those are 17's but they should still work i had a friend of mine running a set of these on his 1989 suburban.
  10. excuse the poor editing but i think maybe this will help. but all diamond plate with no pipe other than the baja bar but i do like the compound angles! thank you sir. i found a couple more pics of a different bumper that i think is what im trying to describe less the two push bars in the front.
  11. well crap!!! ummm??? i wonder if the gear shifter being broke is jackin with it???
  12. could this not be just the headlight switch?
  13. thats funny as hell JL!:lmao: my edge tells me that cold psi with the current weather is about 85-95 psi and when its finally up to temp idle psi is around 30-35 psi.
  14. i understand you cant get away as fast with a dozer! but on a more serious note thats quite the SB. I wonder if my truck has this done i will have to go and take a look see.
  15. The time is no problem since i don't go back to work until the Th of Jan. Would you mind figuring a rough estimate in cost and i would like the bumper to look something similar to this just with diamond plate, as far as the hooks this bumper in the pic just has some tabs to attach some d-hooks to if the would be easier I'm not terribly particular. thank you sir.
  16. Hello glad you could join us and glad to hear you are enjoying the site. Feel free to post or ask any questions this is by far the best forum out there for the cummins!!!!

  18. that is exactly what i was looking for. Thank you ISX you are all right!!!
  19. well maybe the tranny isnt sitting against the catch all the way then. good find!!!
  20. yes sir no pipe other than maybe a baja bar on top extending out a bit. but i would like to have the hooks on the front
  21. wow that really sucks man sorry to hear that!:banghead: i couldnt agree with Mopar anymore about the oversized fuses! :iagree:but i dont think i have ever read about a wire harness melting just a few ECM's that take a crap!
  22. would you be up to building some different types? i would like a bumper without the pipe just flat plate.
  23. yes thats my biggest fear is deer! i would hate to hit one with my factory bumper! i would love to have one of these beasts!!!
