  1. The Raptor has an adjustable regulator for fuel pressue like the ADII does.
  2. DAP has very good prices on the rv275's. Thats where igot mine. Jacob is very good to deal with.
  3. :lmao2:way to go! --- Update to the previous post... :lmao2:way to go!
  4. I kept the stock filter also. I dont think it would hurt anything if you did not use though. Just be darn sure you clean it out good.
  5. I never checked to see if it would. I spliced a tapped tee for my needle vavel and use the outlet on the 90 to bleed the low pressure side or to hook my test gauge to it. It might work i just dont remember what thread it has on it. You can call them and I am sure they would tell you.
  6. Vulcan performance has a big line kit for that purpose.http://www.vulcanperformance.com/category-s/182.htm. The fittings and line between the filter and the vp are pretty retrictive.
  7. Really enjoyed that. I figured the rc would have been chasing the cows and not the other way around. Gil Favor and Rowdy Yates would be pround.
  8. Did the tee look wet at all? Mine was leaking at the tee and at the back of the head. The line coming out of the top of the tee goes to a fitting on the back of the head. Those washers will get hard and can let air into the fuel system. That would cause a hard start issue ususally if the truck is parked in an uphill position and is hard to see. There just does not seem to be any rhyme or reason to your hard starting other than the VP. I dont want to recomend spending 1k to find out, but i dont know what else it could be.
  9. Welcome. It seems we share 3 interest, 500k miles, no truck payments, and golf courses.
  10. Once the pump is off your pressure bleeds back to 0 pretty quickly. Nothing to worry about unless it happens while the pump is running.
  11. BEWARE THE SCREAMIN BEAVERS. THEY LIVE IN THE WOODS
  12. You can use a flat blade screw driver to pop it out. I recently had a problem with all of mine leaking after an injector install. Turned out I had to loosen my injectors and then tighten my connector tubes first and then tighten my injectors. That stopped all my leaking. An oring is easier to replace and see if that does it. Just pop it out and replace the oring. Then see if it stops.
  13. welcome to the site.
  14. Yes. it should be connected with a fuel line towards the rear of the engine where it joins into a tee that connects the return line from the cylinder head and then goes to the fuel tank return line,http://articles.mopar1973man.com/2nd-generation-24v-dodge-cummins/25-fuel-system/88-bosch-vp44-injection-pump-overflow-valve. the first picture shows both the in take and the return line. the banjo fitting underneath the label should have a hard fuel line that goes towards the rear of the engine.
  15. It is just to the left of the supply line. It has a line running to the rear of the engine.
  16. Mike must be proud. Now both of you got wood.
  17. has it been that long?
  18. The rv275"s picke me up about 1.3 mpg with a leaky fuel susytem I have yet run a tank on the highway yet, but i am hopeing for 20. I have only seen it once in my truck.
  19. With or without, i'd say you were pretty luck to be here. I dont know what you hit but from the looks of it, it did not give much.
  20. I cant garauntee that it is set right but most of the threads i have seen on new installs would agree with what Fass is stating. My ad came at 17 i believe. The only true way to tell is with a gauge.
