  1. Hmmmm. I had no idea this existed until just now...
  2. Hold up, what is happening there?
  3. I have the Mangaflow muffler. Not sure of the length but it's a straight through design. Disclaimer: if your wife gets mad about this, it's not out fault.
  4. 5" and muffler should be perfect. My truck with the 4" and the muffler is very, very quiet in the cab. Not outside though!
  5. There will always be deals on turbos. This'll work good until you decide to go bigger
  6. That'll be very tight if you can make it fit. That tire of yours is 32.71" diameter. I currently have the stock 265/75/16 spare and the 4" exhaust is about 3/4" away from it. That tire is 31.65" diameter. So you're growing 1/2" in tire radius and 1/2" in exhaust radius, so they'd be touching... Unless you rigged up a heat shield or (god forbid) bash the tailpipe in to clear the tire
  7. I can answer that question! His (now my) 4" is a magnaflow setup. His 5" is diamond eye.
  8. Too bad about the bearing housing being junk. A 58mm would be a good step up from the 54mm. Are you sure the exducer on your original turbine was a 58mm? It should have been 60mm... 58mm is the HY35 turbine
  9. If you can't find anything decent for lines on FleaBay, I've got a set in my living room. 5k is a lot of work for those motors for appearing stock. Maybe a new VP and a new head?
  10. @notlimah horsey stuff lol. Nick, looks like you have plenty of room as it is, but then again my gf's trailer has a small "living quarters" and it looks the same lol
  11. So is currently three horse with mid tack? and plans to turn it into a 2 horse with mid tack delete kit?
  12. Looks like steel But aluminum is so expensive...
  13. Anything that is a S300 frame will not work with your current EB, and will require a 4" downpipe. With the quad, you can tune it to spool the S36(2,3) pretty well, with just a touch of lag. A 62/65/12 would be your best bet for stock-ish spooling. If you went with a SXE (62or63/68/12) you may notice more lag
  14. Correct. The hotwiring Jacob is talking about only lets it idle, the ECM controls revving. Also, it's gonna struggle to idle without those VP lines lol
  15. Do it!!!!! So my current setup is a 4" magnaflow with muffler (courtesy of @TFaoro) and the thing that quieted it down the most was a 14cm non gated housing. At idle, I can only hear the turbine of the turbo, and I have to be standing at the bed to hear the actual exhaust note. Compounds also quiets the truck down a lot as well..... Food for thought, since you have that new trans...
  16. Use the metal washers in the fel-pro kit, should be exactly like what came off the bolts originally. As for the scoring, looks like something did get stuck in there or a small piece of the ring broke off. The rule I've always followed is if you can grab the scoring with your fingernail, it's time to rebuild it. It's hard to see if there's still cross-hatching on that cylinder, maybe it's the angle of the shot
  17. Oh come on. Your wheels were a lot cheaper than mine, and I still have to buy tires lol. 5" time.
  18. Have access to a welder? If so, I'd just fill those holes quick and forget about it. Otherwise, you can get Tiger Tape from an auto parts store. It's exhaust tape that hardens (almost steel-like when done) and stops leaks.
  19. I wonder if the 18cm^2 number he gave you includes the massive wastegate area. The actual volutes (snail part) don't look any bigger than the 14cm I have on my truck..
  20. ^ dis you. Gonna send you to Jelly Skooo.
  21. It is literally the same when it's running.... (shamelessly reused from pg. 4)
  22. "hot torques are for losers" "I hot torque everything" lol, gotta love it. My favorite part is when the cop showed up
